I plan to have an unmedicated birth in the hospital (UTMB Galveston), I want as few interventions as possible. I'd like a doula's help at the birth, with starting to breastfeed, and perhaps a few visits postpartum. My budget is $2,000.

My family and I live in Grand county but plan to deliver in Denver. Not my first pregnancy but only daughter is 15 and need help with feeling stress free. Also high risk pregnancy (type 1 diabetic). Not sure what cost is typically but need affordable options. Thanks!

I plan to give birth at a hospital in Beaumont. I had to unexpectedly relocate here from Dallas so I am trying to find a new birth team. My estimated budget is 800$. I am looking to have a natural birth with free movement no episiotomy no forceps or vaccines and for pain management I want to use nitrous oxide and maybe hydrotherapy. Using warm towels and birthing props like birthing ball or peanut ball birthing stool. Wireless monitors on me so that I am able to move freely I don’t want to feel restricted or held down when giving birth. I want direct skin contact right after birth. No bath on my newborn. Not a lot of people in the delivery room. Calm environment. I want my water to break naturally unless intervention is medically necessary. That’s pretty much it for now still researching.

I need to find a specific match for a doula that is covered by my current AHCCCS United Community Healthcare Plan. I have very specific birth plan needs that require avoiding many if not all of modern hospital interventions. I will be attempting a VBAC at the TMC hospital and will be having a physiological unmedicated vaginal birth without induction or a repeated c section. My anatomy ultrasound results came back perfect and all risks of uterine rupture or other things were ruled out by MFM and OB providers. I was told I am considered a good candidate for a natural birth. I am otherwise a healthy 36 year old female with no previous complications. I am needing an experienced and assertive doula to stand for my birthing plan at the hospital during my entire labor and birthing process. I request no medical intervention for myself or my child, including delayed cord cutting and retaining of my placenta. No shots administered to my baby unless medically necessary. Hi I’m reaching out because my over the phone OB said you are a doula that my Medicade will sponsor? I’m just trying to see if this is accurate. I’m wanting emotional and physical support before, during and after baby is born. This is my first child and would like another advocate that will help me through the process and will stand on business with these nurses.
