We are planning to give birth at a hospital, ideally one with a strong reputation for maternal care, low intervention rates, and access to a NICU if needed. Our estimated budget for doula and postpartum support is between $1,500 and $3,500 depending on experience, services included, and level of support provided before and after delivery. Our birth plan is centered around a calm, low-intervention experience. We prefer an unmedicated vaginal birth if possible, but we are open to medical interventions if they become necessary for the safety of the baby or mother. We would like continuous labor support, encouragement with breathing and positioning, and an advocate who can help communicate our preferences with medical staff. Delayed cord clamping, immediate skin-to-skin contact, and support with initiating breastfeeding are very important to us. For the provider, we are looking for someone who is a certified doula (such as DONA or CAPPA certified) with at least 3–5 years of experience and multiple births attended. We strongly prefer someone who is calm under pressure, highly communicative, and experienced with hospital births. It would be a bonus if the provider speaks Spanish as a second language to help support extended family members. The care recipient is a newborn, and we are first-time parents. We would appreciate guidance on feeding (primarily breastfeeding), soothing techniques, and establishing healthy sleep habits. There are no known special needs at this time, but we value a provider who can adapt if circumstances change. Additional duties we are interested in include light housekeeping related to the baby (washing bottles, baby laundry), meal prep for the mother during postpartum recovery, and some support with sleep training or establishing routines. Flexibility in scheduling and availability for overnight support a few times per week would be ideal.

This will be my 2nd birth. My 1st one was a high risk twin pregnancy that had me impatient at the Fetal Care at Children’s Hospital in Aurora. I found out at 20 weeks we were expecting twins and my plans for a natural birth went out the window. I delivered the twins at 29 w and 6 days via c-section. This go round I’m seeking a VBAC option to redeem my original plans. I live in rural eastern Colorado and so I’m in the process of looking for a hospital close enough to us that has the capabilities to fulfill my wishes. I’m looking into the Greeley/ Ft. Collins area. Because of the amazing intimate care I had at the Fetal Care I desire to have a doula to provide the same feels and experience I had there. My budget is $1,000-$1,800.

Lutheran medical center Medicaid I have no money. My birth plan is a scheduled C-section I had a baby last Christmas 12/25/24 so it is required I have a c section again.

Looking for occasional daytime help For my daughter, a single first time mom. Would love a visit 1-2 days after returning home with baby, then a few more visits over next 3 weeks. Someone who can assist with breastfeeding (not necessarily certified lactation consultant) is a plus. She will have overnight help for me but we will need daytime backup support occasionally.

Hospital birth, first time moms, LGBTQ+ family, 39 years old, unsure of budget as just starting out, ideal birth plan is vaginal birth without epidural (and tearing) but I’m very interested in nitros as pain management. I really want to find someone who is experienced in births to understand me and my family’s desires and to not be railroaded into decisions I’m not comfortable with or don’t understand all my options at the hospital.

I plan on giving birth at home. Estimated budget of $8,000. I would like a home water birth, as natural as possible (no epidural), in a squatting position, delayed umbilical cord clamping, breathing exercises instead of pain medications, remaining active during labor, and medical/hospital intervention only if absolutely necessary.

I am a first time mommy needing a doula midwife and night time nanny

Looking for assistance in birth preparation and to have support during labor. I plan to give birth in the hospital. I have Colorado Medicaid and am looking for a doula or midwife who is covered through colorado medicaid. I want to do an unmedicated birth in the hospital with a midwife and have a doula there as well.

This is my second child and I’m looking for a night nanny so I can sleep and postpartum care.

I need a certified doula to help at night a couple times a week. I really need a full nights rest. During the night they will be in charge of a 8 week old. They are to feed and change his diaper. It will also be helpful to put together my pump parts and bring it to me once during the night. Average time would be 12am-8am. No budget.
