I am looking for a doula to assist me in a natural home birth. Minimal intervention. Holistic views similar to mine. Im not sure of an average cost, so I would guess my budget is $1,500?

We are seeking a kind, reliable postpartum doula to provide supportive care for our newborn while the mother is home. This short-term role runs January 26–30, from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM (6 hours per day). Responsibilities include assisting with infant care such as feeding support, diaper changes, soothing, and nap monitoring, as well as supporting the mother with baby-related tasks. Light baby-related housekeeping (washing bottles, tidying the baby area) and light household help as time allows are appreciated. Prior newborn experience required; CPR/First Aid certification preferred. This is a supportive, collaborative role with the mother present at home.

Hello, I am planning to birth with Mountain Miracles Midwifery the last week of June of 2026 (envisioning another home water birth). We plan on giving birth at the Common Spirit hospital in Longmont. Budget is $1000-$2000 depending on the services provided. Birth plan: no Pitocin, no students, no epidural, free to move, delayed cord clamping. We mainly want someone who can be an advocate for us during birth. I've always wanted to have my babies naturally with little to no pain medication, IV or laughing gas would be as far as I would go. I do not want to labor or give birth in a hospital unless I have no other choice, if things take a turn I have a doctor at Mercy hospital. Our estimated budget would probably be 1.5k-2.k overall. We're a young couple starting out in a new town, we're starting to get back on our feet and we were not expecting to have a little one so soon. I would also like either a foam mat low to the ground or a bed to get on if we need a change from the pool/tub. Yoga balls and all the fixings.
