Hi! I’m Annika and I am excited to support you through your pregnancy, birth, and postpartum journey. For as long as I can remember I have been fascinated by pregnancy and birth and I took many opportunities to explore this interest further during my time as a student at the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John’s University. I currently serve as a Public Health Project Coordinator for Scott County, working to promote healthy families. I truly believe that the start to every healthy family is birth, and every family deserves a beautiful and empowering experience, whatever that looks like to them. My goal is to best prepare you through your pregnancy so you have the best chance of having your ideal birth. I will help ensure that you are well informed so you can be your best advocate, and I will advocate for you when I’m asked. My care is comprehensive, evidence based, and rooted in the multitude of education I have received, which is ever ongoing. I hope to build a connection with you and your family that will last long after your birth. I cannot wait to meet you! I serve the West Metro area of the Twin Cities.

Recent night nanny reviews near Mankato

As a fourth-time mom, I felt confident going in to my birth, I knew my body and my birth preferences, but baby #4 threw us some curveballs, and I’m so, so glad that Madi was there for us! I was too fried to think through and work out a lot of things before and after birth - she helped me work it all out. Madi was generous with her time and made sure to understand our needs and priorities, and as a result, she was able to provide us with exactly the support we needed. Her knowledge and research help was amazing, but who she is was the greatest gift to our fourth daughter’s birth day. Madi naturally has a soothing disposition, she remains calm, but connected. In a situation that was constantly changing, stressful, and high stakes, I’m glad we had her in our corner.

— Kristen A., review of Madeline Harris May 2026

We had an incredible experience with Madi and truly can’t recommend her enough. From the very beginning, she made us feel supported, informed, and confident going into the birth of our first baby. She took the time to answer all of our questions, ease our anxieties, and help us create a birth plan that felt right for us. She provided evidence-based information and resources for labor, delivery, breastfeeding, and postpartum, and if she didn’t know the answer to something, she always took the time to research and follow up with us. What made her care especially meaningful to us was how she brought Jesus into every step of the journey. She prayed with us, asked often how she could be praying for us, and created such a peaceful, faith-filled environment throughout the entire experience. During labor, her calm presence made all the difference. She constantly reminded me that I could do it, helped create a sense of peace in the room, and was such a steady source of encouragement. I’ll never forget her holding my hand as I got the epidural—it meant more than I can put into words. She truly listened to my fears about labor and delivery and went out of her way to comfort my anxieties. Postpartum, she continued to check in often, always asking what she could do for us. When I struggled with breastfeeding, she provided so many helpful resources, guidance, and continued prayer, which meant so much during those early days. We may have hired her as a doula, but what we gained was so much more—a lifelong, special friendship. She holds such a special place in our hearts, and the way she brings Jesus into everything she does is truly beautiful. She left a lasting impact on our family, and we are forever grateful.

— Mayra Miner, review of Madeline Harris April 2026

If it weren’t for Madi being my doula during my first pregnancy, I would have felt so unprepared and alone in the journey. She was a constant source of support—spiritually, emotionally, and physically. Madi provided so much knowledge and guidance, especially with different types of counter pressure techniques (which absolutely SAVED ME during labor!). She also taught my husband how to use them so he could support me more effectively. During birth, when I was too exhausted to speak up for myself, Madi became my advocate. There was a moment when the care team wanted to break my water. It was unexpected and didn’t think it would come to that, and Madi immediately knew that this wasn’t what to wanted. She stood by me, prayed with me, and gently suggested trying different positions to help open my hips—and sure enough, my water broke naturally, and baby came soon after! Even after birth, she continued to check in, which meant so much during those early days of transition. Having her support didn’t stop at the delivery room—she came for a postpartum home visit and helped with dishes, laundry and brought me some yummy lactation brownies. I’m forever grateful to have had Madi as my doula. She wasn’t just a support person—she became a friend and a sister in Christ. Thank you, Madi, for walking alongside me in one of the most sacred times of my life!
