Hello, my name is Hailey Benbow and I am a Certified Doula (DONA) with a passion for supporting families through the journey of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. After becoming a mother, I was inspired to become a doula and help other families have a positive experience. My philosophy on birth is rooted in the belief that every family deserves personalized care and support throughout the journey to parenthood. I believe in empowering parents to make informed decisions about their pregnancy and birth, and I strive to create a safe, nurturing environment for them to do so. As a doula, I offer a range of services to support expectant parents, including prenatal education, labor support, postpartum care, and breastfeeding support. I have experience working with a variety of different parenting preferences and situations. My approach to working with clients is one of compassion, openness, and collaboration. I prioritize effective communication and am committed to being available to answer any questions or concerns that may arise. I also believe in working closely with other members of the healthcare team to ensure that my clients receive the best possible care. Thank you for considering me as your doula. We thoroughly enjoyed working with Hailey. She was an incredible doula—supportive, knowledgeable, and genuinely thoughtful every step of the way. Hailey took the time to walk us through every possible scenario and made sure we felt prepared and confident. In the hospital, she worked seamlessly alongside our care team and advocated for us with such calm, steady presence. We truly couldn’t have done it without her. We are so grateful for her guidance and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a compassionate and skilled doula.

Hello, I'm Skye Hackney with September Skye Doula Services, serving Calaveras, Amador and Tuolomne counties. I believe that child birth doesn't have to be scary. I understand that childbirth sometimes doesn't go as planned and planning for the unexpected can be scary. So how do you plan for the unexpected? With the help of a knowledgeable birth coach. I believe everyone deserves to be supported, encouraged and empowered during pregnancy, birth and beyond! My objective as a doula is to provide compassionate guidance and support, both physical and emotional, to birthing people and their families throughout the entire birthing process. I aim to uphold your choices and provide reliable resources, and information. Through the preservation of bodily autonomy, and access to information, resources and support even when birth doesn't go as planned, it doesn't have to be traumatic. I know that you are the expert on your family and my job is to serve you in whatever way works the best for you. How can I help you have a peaceful birth?

I have always been passionate about doing work that provides deep, meaningful support. After years of working as a nanny, and my own experience in becoming a mother, I found the support for new parents to be nearly non-existent. When my kids were born I felt very unprepared and alone. I became a doula because I know how hard postpartum is. I know how it feels to be exhausted, overwhelmed, and unsure of yourself as a new parent. I also know it doesn't have to feel that way. My business was brought to life because of my passion for helping new families not just survive those early postpartum days and weeks, but to thrive. You don't need to do this alone. As a new parent, you deserve as much nurturing care and community as your baby. I want parents everywhere to flourish during postpartum. You deserve to be heard, cared for, and allowed to rest. Being able to provide non-judgmental support, warmth, and ease some of the stress of those early days of parenthood is truly my passion and a dream come true. When I'm not caring for amazing families you'll find me enjoying my kids, our two cats, reading, and gardening.

As a mother of two and someone who has worked as a CNA, I have developed a deep sense of empathy and patience, which I believe are essential qualities for a sitter. I love being a sitter because it allows me to provide care and support to others while building meaningful connections with people. I enjoy offering comfort and assistance, whether it’s for children, elderly individuals, or those with special needs. In terms of experience, I have worked as a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant), where I gained hands-on experience in patient care, assisting with daily activities, and ensuring safety and comfort. This role involved working with a wide range of individuals, from young children to the elderly, which has given me a broad understanding of various care needs. In addition to my CNA experience, I am currently studying nursing, which has allowed me to further develop my medical knowledge and skills. I have also completed training in CPR and first aid, which are crucial skills for any sitter. Overall, my combination of personal experience as a mother and professional background in healthcare makes me well-equipped to provide attentive and compassionate care.

I want to start off by saying please don’t judge a book by its cover. Having Lisamaria as my doula was absolutely the best decision we made. Having Lisamaria provide support for my family before and after having my son was something I didn’t realize I needed. That no sleep zombie life really messes you up. Having Lisamaria watching my son while I rested aloud me to actually rest knowing he was in amazing hands. Her breath of knowledge and experience was beyond helpful. She taught me tips and tricks that no class or YouTube video taught me. I still remember the struggle I had trying to get my son in the sling so I could have my hands friend. For some reason I just COULD NOT get it. I watched Lisamaria as she just twisted and pulled and made such a cozy little place for my son to sleep and relax in the sling. It took me MULTIPLE times to finally get it down. I was getting pissed and overwhelm but Lisamaria was there helping me every time with all calmness and patience.

Hi there! My name is Lindsey! I'm a Birth Doula, mom of a beautiful 13 month old baby boy, married to my best friend and was born and raised in the Bay Area! I have always had an immense level of respect and awe for birth, but it was really through my own pregnancy and natural, unmedicated and intervention free birth that a passion was ignited for serving women through this life-changing event. So many women lack the support they need to feel confident in the power they hold when they bring their babies into this world. My hope is that I can provide that support to you and help you achieve a positive birth experience. My goal for my clients is that you go into your birth feeling confident, empowered, educated, and in charge. I care that you've had a chance to access all of the information, have had time to ask questions, have had time to come to an answer and can give TRULY informed consent to any procedure. I also just really want to have a good time with you during one of the most incredible seasons of life. I'm so happy to meet you!
