About Janae

I have always been passionate about doing work that provides deep, meaningful support. After years of working as a nanny, and my own experience in becoming a mother, I found the support for new parents to be nearly non-existent. When my kids were born I felt very unprepared and alone. I became a doula because I know how hard postpartum is. I know how it feels to be exhausted, overwhelmed, and unsure of yourself as a new parent. I also know it doesn't have to feel that way. My business was brought to life because of my passion for helping new families not just survive those early postpartum days and weeks, but to thrive. You don't need to do this alone. As a new parent, you deserve as much nurturing care and community as your baby. I want parents everywhere to flourish during postpartum. You deserve to be heard, cared for, and allowed to rest. Being able to provide non-judgmental support, warmth, and ease some of the stress of those early days of parenthood is truly my passion and a dream come true. When I'm not caring for amazing families you'll find me enjoying my kids, our two cats, reading, and gardening.

I offer postpartum support focused on caring for you as much as your baby. With specialized training in postpartum nutrition, I’m deeply passionate about nurturing new mothers through nourishing, healing foods that support recovery, energy, and overall well-being in the early weeks. My care is calm, practical, and mother-centered, grounded in real-life support. I’m also currently completing sleep consultant training, allowing me to gently support families as they begin to understand newborn sleep and build sustainable rhythms. We are so grateful we found Janae to support us with the postpartum journey with our first daughter. She was so helpful, knowledgeable, and brought a sense of calm to our house. Her presence and support really was vital for reducing our anxieties as we made the wild transition into parenthood. Our daughter responded so well to Janae which allowed me to get some much needed rest and recovery. Janae also often cooked up a pot of something delicious for us to have over a few days. Janae was our night doula for our son during his first 12 weeks. She also came back later on to help with sleep training. Janae was calm, resourceful, a great help during the chaos of the newborn phase. I also appreciated the time she took to address mothers questions on recovery journey along with care for the baby.
