About me

Hi, I’m Maria, a bilingual birth and postpartum doula serving families in Contra Costa, Alameda, and select Bay Area communities. I hold a B.A. in Human Development and have experience supporting families throughout pregnancy, labor, birth, and the postpartum period. I provide calm, compassionate, and culturally responsive support. I help families prepare for birth, understand their options, communicate their preferences, practice comfort measures, and navigate the hospital experience while working collaboratively with their medical team. My goal is to help each client feel informed, respected, confident, and supported throughout their journey. I primarily work with families whose doula services are covered through Medi-Cal, participating managed care health plans, and Kaiser. Coverage and eligibility are verified before services begin.
