Their primary goal is to help the mother have a safe, memorable, and empowering birthing experience.Why are doulas important? 🌿 Emotional Support: Doulas support emotional wellbeing with reassurance and encouragement to help you feel calm and confident throughout your birthing experience. 🌿 Physical Comfort: Doulas use massage, breathing exercises and positioning to manage pain and ease labor. 🌿 Informational Support: Doulas provide valuable information about the birthing process, helping you make informed decisions that align with your decisions 🌿 Advocacy: Doulas ensure your wishes are respected by communicating with the medical team to foster a positive experience 🌿 Partner Support: Doulas also support your partner, offering guidance on how to best assist you, ensuring they feel involved and empowered.Having a doula by your side can make all the difference in creating a positive and supportive birthing experience.
