I practice trauma informed, perinatal, birth, and postpartum support for all birthing bodies, couples, single and single by choice parents, adoptive parents, and families on their surrogacy journeys. My support is queer competent, weight inclusive and intersectional, and it is always my priority to support people getting the care that helps them feel safe and seen, essential to the health and wellness of both baby and family. I know first hand how beautiful, challenging and exhausting childbirth and parenting is, and I come with a wealth of personal and professional experience to share with you.

I’m Mary, a Seattle-based Certified Washington Birth Doula, Certified Postpartum & Infant Care Doula, trained Newborn Care Specialist, and gentle sleep coach. I’ve supported over seventy families through birth recovery, overnight care, and the earliest weeks of newborn life, including those long, vulnerable nights when rest feels impossible. I specialize in calm, evidence-based postpartum and newborn support that helps families recover, regulate, and sleep - without rigid programs or one-size-fits-all advice. Whether I’m providing overnight care, supporting feeding, or helping your baby develop healthy sleep rhythms, my role is to bring steadiness, skill, and relief into your home. Families often tell me they feel more confident, more rested, and more grounded within our first weeks together. My approach is gentle but intentional, practical without being cold, and always centered on the well-being of both parent and baby. You don’t have to white-knuckle this season. I’m here to help you feel supported, capable, and cared for. Available for birth, birth recovery, overnight postpartum care, and early newborn sleep support.

We always remember how our children came into the world and as a birth doula I wish to give you the confidence to decide what is right for you and your family, supporting you, emotionally and practically, to have a beautiful, empowered and positive birth experience. The arrival of a new baby is a time filled with so many emotions, from excitement and joy to worry and fear. The early weeks with your newborn are undoubtedly magical, but they can also be challenging and overwhelming. Your body has gone through an enormous change, and your hormones will be shifting as well, the dynamics of home life shift and new skills are learnt by all the family.  As your birth doula, my role is to offer you and your family the necessary support for a positive birthing experience.  I will give you the much-needed continuity of care, access to accurate information and to be a guide along your pregnancy and birthing journey.
