I’m giving birth on October 06 at a birth center I’m looking for someone ( doula) who will help me on the birth day and post partum at home after birth we can agree on the time someone who will take insurance please

I am looking for a birth doula for a first time mother, I will be attempting to give birth in a hospital (preferably a baby friendly hospital in Kirkland, to promote breastfeeding) but i want to avoid medications and surgeries if possible. I dont have a set budget, I will be saving for this during the next few months and asking my family for assistance if they have anything to help. I am 27, this would be my first birth and I am epileptic (currently medication controlled but still a risk) I dont think I could afford any other services or aid unless it is out of the goodness of your heart.

We are looking for a warm, reliable, and experienced postpartum doula to help support our family after the arrival of our baby. We would ideally like someone with postpartum doula training or certification and several years of experience caring for newborns. Current infant CPR and First Aid certification is strongly preferred, along with excellent references and a background check. We are looking for someone who is confident with newborn care, including diapering, soothing, bottle feeding, burping, safe sleep practices, and helping establish healthy newborn sleep routines. Experience supporting formula feeding would be a plus. We want someone who is supportive of our choices and takes a calm, nonjudgmental approach to caring for our baby. Most importantly, we are looking for someone who is trustworthy, patient, dependable, and easy to have in our home. We would love a doula who can provide guidance when we need it while also respecting our preferences and helping us become more confident as new parents. Our estimated budget is $35–$50 per hour, depending on experience, certifications, responsibilities. We are open to discussing rates with the right person.

Just found out I'm pregnant, and I'm looking for a doula who can be by my side during prenatal and during birth. My husband gets queasy and faints at the sight of blood, so I need an active helper by my side! I hope to give birth at the Everett Providence Hospital vaginally with pain relief meds, but I do want centering and holistic birthing practices used as well. I'm only 6 weeks pregnant, so I don't have too many details figured out, but with this being my first pregnancy, having a large support team is important to me. I would like to establish a relationship with a doula before birth so that I know somewhat what to expect in care during birth and post-birth. I am also interested in home visits post-taking the baby home so that I can make sure I can shower and such while the baby is looked after. I have no idea what doulas do. I’m interested in learning more about what services are available. I am pregnant with my 4th child and single this time around. Delivering at capital medical center. Between Christmas and Jan 6th. I’m 42. This pregnancy is different for me because I’m doing it alone. Overwhelmed at home.
