Baby latches on but does not stay on. Hard time feeding.
baby will not breastfeed during day anymore but does fine at night, supply has gone down since she isn’t feeding throughout the day despite pumping
Helping with latch. Assessing if my infant has ties or tension causing poor latch.
1: hospital 2: $700-$2,300 3: hypno therapy to cope with contractions / pain and most likely getting an epidural.
Since birth baby has been EBF. She sleeps ok at night for the most part she will give a 4-5 hr stretch then 1 & 1/2 to 2 hr stretches after that until about 6-8 am when we get up for the day. From morning to afternoon 11 sometimes 1pm she’s eating with maybe a 10 min break in between while I put her in the carrier to make breakfast. She will rarely take a 2hr nap and I mean rarely. Once I’m done with breakfast she’s back on the boob for another 4 hrs if I’m lucky she takes a 45 min to 1 hr nap late afternoon (3-4) then she feeds till 10pm. Every single day. There are what it seems like no breaks during the day. I can’t tell you when the beginning and end of a feed is because she’s never not feeding. I need help why is she doing this?! She has good output of wet + dirty diapers. Insufficient milk transfer? I thought it would only last a few days but it’s been every day for 8 weeks now. SOS

I envision my birth taking place outside of a hospital bed. I am curious to know options for a water birth delivery. I strongly do not want to be confined to a bed. I am not against being at a hospital, if necessary. I just want to be free to move. Right now, I am financially limited to what Arizona AHCCCS will cover; however, I am taking on a new job in March which will allow me to earn higher income and find better insurance coverage. My birth plan right now is something I'm yet determining. I am seeking a doula for emotional support and guidance throughout my pregnancy as I do not have a support system in place. My family nor the father of my baby are not actively involved in supporting me. Having a doula is critical for me and baby to support us throughout each transition of this pregnancy journey.

Baby does not latch, she drinks formula, I am not producing milk yet
Hey, I am 33 years old, mother of 2, and a pumping mom. I have been struggling for what feels like a month with getting the milk ducts close to my nipple to release their milk while pumping. I have the Spectra S2, and love it, but I do notice I am not completely draining every time I sit down. Just started using silicone flanges to help me potentially release better, and I can tell I still have milk after a long stretch of time pumping. I pump 30 minutes practically every time I sit down to pump with hand expression after every pump because of the milk being left behind. Morning and last pump of the day are power pumps because I do not pump in the middle of the night; its what I have been doing since the beginning and I had been able to keep my numbers without getting mastitis until around Thanksgiving. I would prefer a lactation consultant that is covered by my insurance. I am insured underneath Banner Aetna.
