About Mia

Hi all! My name is Mia DePaolis and I am a birth doula and certified babywearing educator based out of Boston, MA. I believe that birth is an aspect of life where we should not have to brave it alone. Full of unknowns, birth has the ability to take us to our breaking point and bring us out the other side as a new human. Channeling the inner strength to process and work through the beautiful challenge of birth is the key to an unmedicated birth and this is where I come into play! I use my experience as an athlete, nutrition coach, mentor, mother, and birth worker combined together to help you find your strength and support you in the birth you deserve.

Birth Doula services

I offer birth doula support to expecting families inclusive of prenatal visits, labor support, and postpartum visit/s. Prenatal appointments are also attended by my backup doula and partner to promote continuity of care should I be unable to attend for an unexpected reason. Additionally, my services are inclusive of one prenatal babywearing consultation with a full learning library of carriers. During the consultation we will explore different types of carriers, practice using them properly, learn how to identify a safe fit, and find the best option for you to add to your registry or purchase so you aren't guessing. I also offer a cloth diapering library inclusive of a variety of different brands and styles of cloth diapers for those who are interested in this avenue of diapering for their child.
