Hello! My name is Miriam Samassa, and I’m a licensed nurse with 2 years of experience in Emergency Room nursing. I’m now transitioning into in-home infant care and nanny work, where I can continue supporting families with the calm, attentive care I provided in the hospital setting. While this is my first formal role as a night nanny, I bring a strong foundation in newborn and pediatric care, including feeding support, safe sleep practices, and recognizing signs of distress or illness. In the ER, I often worked with infants and young children—developing not only clinical skills but also the empathy, communication, and attentiveness essential to caring for little ones and their parents. I am CPR and First Aid certified, familiar with infant cues and developmental stages, and deeply committed to providing a safe, restful environment for families adjusting to life with a new baby. I’m especially passionate about helping parents feel supported during those challenging overnight hours.
