I was lucky enough to have had Monique as my son's child health nurse in Perth, Australia. As a first-time parent, I felt lost and so sleep deprived. Monique did a home visit when my son was 2 weeks old and I was instantly calmed by her presence and patience. When my son went through his leaps and sleep regressions (or progressions as Monique likes to call them!) Monique was there to guide me and give me confidence so I could support my son the best way I could. She was an angel when I had my second son. She gave me tips just by watching the videos of my son struggling to settle at nap time. She then did a home consultation where she watched how I would normally put my son to bed and immediately picked out a few things, one of which was that my son hated me patting him to sleep! She could tell just by reading his body language and cries. Monique is an advocate for supporting babies' needs and tuning into their cries. By understanding what my son needed, I was about to respond accordingly, whether it is by giving him an extra minute to fall asleep or going in for a reassuring cuddle. Both my sons have slept through following Monique's help. As a parent, a well-rested child (and self) is the most valuable gift. Thank you, Monique!!

Monique (a child health nurse and midwife) is wonderful! She helped us with techniques to change our 6 month old baby's sleeping habits. Monique is all about actually listening to and observing your baby and being there to support them until they put themselves to sleep. I like that she did not encourage to follow a strict schedule/trendy method/routine but rather respond to baby as needed and with consistency. She is a gentle, warm and friendly person who continues to be there for us post our in-house engagement - such a reassurance for us as sleep is not linear, and a helpful contact to have! Finally, her fees are relatively fair and reasonable.
