Hello! My name is Monique, and I am a certified birth and postpartum doula, newborn care specialist, and lactation support professional based in Fort Worth, Texas. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Obstetrics from the University of São Paulo in Brazil and completed graduate-level studies focused on newborn and postpartum care in Madrid, Spain. Throughout my clinical career, I participated in more than 1,000 births and supported families in Brazil, Spain, and Texas. My philosophy is to provide calm, compassionate, evidence-informed, and nonjudgmental care. I believe every family deserves to feel heard, respected, safe, and confident while making choices that reflect their own values. I offer birth preparation, continuous labor support, daytime and overnight postpartum care, breastfeeding and feeding support, newborn care, and parent education. I also have experience with twins, premature babies, and children with medically complex needs. I provide support in English, Portuguese, and Spanish and am certified in infant and child CPR and First Aid.

• One prenatal consultation to discuss your birth preferences and prepare for labor • Ongoing text and phone support during pregnancy • On-call availability from 38 weeks until birth • Continuous emotional and physical support during labor and birth • Comfort measures, breathing techniques, positioning, and partner support • Assistance with communication and informed decision-making • Initial breastfeeding and newborn-feeding support after birth • One postpartum follow-up visit or virtual check-in

What to expect

I offer compassionate birth and postpartum doula support throughout DFW, including prenatal preparation, continuous labor support, daytime and overnight newborn care, breastfeeding and feeding guidance, maternal recovery support, safe-sleep education, reflux care, and gentle infant routines. Virtual consultations are available for birth planning, postpartum preparation, newborn care, and feeding support. Services are available in English, Portuguese, and Spanish.
