I’m open to giving birth wherever it’s possible, preferably hospital because it’s safer but I’m open to home birth too, if I get enough of education and coaching. I am also going to be alone for this, my husband works nights, my family doesn’t live around, my mom can come to be with me few times a year for a bit. I’d pay using anthem ppo. Want to reduce the cesarean and I’m open to pain meds, as I have low pain tolerance. I get anxious and tend to be panicky. I’d love to prevent tearing, I have raynaund’s phenomenon and my nipples are sensitive. I am first time mom, want to have the chance to be treated with respect especially since having a foreign accent.

I plan to give birth in a hospital. I'm hoping to have care covered by my Untied Healthcare insurance. I want as minimal intervention as possible during my birth. I want an experienced and certified provider. I hope to have help with my birth plan, birth experience, and postnatal care.

I am planning to give birth in a hospital and am looking for a certified doula who accepts or is familiar with TRICARE Prime coverage. I'm not sure what to expect regarding the cost, so I am hoping to find someone whose services are covered by TRICARE or eligible for reimbursement. I am due on November 20, 2026. My birth plan is to try a low-dose epidural at first, with the option to increase it if needed. My goal is to have the best pain relief possible while maintaining safety for me and my baby. I prefer to avoid Pitocin unless it is medically necessary. I would also like to avoid giving birth flat on my back if possible and would prefer to labor and deliver in side-lying or other upright, supported positions as appropriate. During labor, I would like to use comfort measures such as a birth ball, peanut ball, and squat bar, and I prefer intermittent fetal monitoring if it is safe for me and my baby. After birth, I would like delayed cord clamping, to leave the vernix on my baby rather than wiping it off immediately, and to have uninterrupted skin-to-skin contact with either me or the baby's father for about the first hour before routine newborn assessments, provided my baby is healthy and does not require urgent medical care. I would prefer to delay the hospital bath and decline routine eye ointment unless it is medically necessary or required. I understand that my birth preferences may need to change if there is a medical concern for me or my baby. I am looking for a certified doula with at least 10 years of experience supporting hospital births. I am 28 years old, this is my first pregnancy, and I plan to breastfeed if possible but am open to supplementing with formula if medically necessary. Both of my previous pregnancies I spent alone . Luckily this time , I have an amazing partner and supporter, just looking to add in a little support in areas he can't always fill. I plan on birthing in San Antonio Regional Hospital in Upland CA. I would like to have as least medical interventions as possible however while still in a hospital setting in case it is medically necessary to intervene. I would like to have a doula for supporting my husband and I in preparation for this to be possible as well as postpartum support to help me get settled in as a new mother healing from birthing. I don’t have a set budget as I am unaware of the costs that go into this. But we are willing to work towards meeting our needs.
