My Cheristian faith is very important to me, and my husband and mother-in-law will both be present during labor. I’m planning on an epidural. Going birth at a women’s and babies hospital facility. I am unsure of a budget. I would like to try to give birth naturally, but epidural is not off the table completely, no C-section unless medically necessary. Delayed cord clamping. Hello! I'm a first time mommy to be! I plan to give birth in the hospital. I'm looking for someone that will be caring, calming, welcoming, and supportive that will be there from triage to recovery. My birth plan consists of having a low calming environment. I prefer things to go as smoothly and safe as possible.

I am thinking about hiring a doula to assist and be there for me during labor. I plan on giving birth at the Mary V. O’Shea Birth Center in Saint Peter’s University Hospital. My plan is to have an unmedicated birth with low interventions, and I am hoping to find someone knowledgeable that can help guide me through the labor process.

I plan to give birth in the hospital. I am not sure how much doulas really cost, so I would say my budget is about $1-2k. I haven’t created a birth plan yet. If the postpartum doula can speak gujarati, that would be great. The more experienced the better. I would like them to help with cooking, laundry tasks as I’ll have some older adults who have their recipes but they’d need help with these tasks (somebody can stir the food or cut it etc). This person should be able to go up and down the stairs.
