I plan to do a home birth, this is my first baby. Our budget for a doula is ideally around $1,000 The best fit is someone who is intuitive and has a natural gift for this work (water moon signs and past life experiences as a mother or doula are a bonus ;) hahah) I want to feel we are connected in a deeper way, plus we might want to work with you again for my future babies. If this job is viewed as just another momma/ client than we may not be the best fit. We prefer someone English speaking I would like you to support me postpartum with 2-8 visits where you can bring me nourishing pads, Epsom salt soaks, foot rubs, baby support, etc. I hope you can also support my partner during birth, guiding him through the process and what/say to me if it feels needed.

Plan to give birth at American Fork hospital. I'm 33 and this is my first pregnancy. My spine is fused from T4-L3, so I have concerns about an epidural, otherwise I would opt for that immediately. Neither my husband nor I really know what we're doing and I would like someone with experience helping guide me through the process and giving me pain relief techniques the whole time, instead of in and out like nurses. The hospital has bath tubs available, so I think I'll probably use that to labor, but we can't use them to deliver. I'm not opposed to having a medicated delivery, I'm just scared it won't work because of my hardware, so I would like backup plans. I have no idea what to expect for a budget.

I would like to give birth here at my apartment or at a local birth center. Not a hospital but somewhere where I can birth possibly in water & just naturally. I did my last baby natural in the hospital & I loved it so I don’t see a point going to the hostpial again. I would just like it to be as cheap as possible.

Planning of giving birth in Davis county (Layton or Ogden). I've never had a doula but would like to possibly find something in the 1500 range for some lead up to the deliver and delivery support. I'm hoping for VBAC. My birth experience on my first pregnancy was not as supportive as I was hoping from the medical team. Hoping to find someone how can help bridge my natural preferences with the medical mind.

I plan to give birth at Intermountain Layton hospital at the "Simply Birth" center and have a natural, unmedicated water birth. I plan to use water, breathing techniques, counterpressure, and quiet/darkness for pain management. It is my first baby so I would appreciate someone experienced who can help me advocate for myself throughout labor. I live in Mountain Green, Utah. My estimated budget is $1500. I am not looking for postpartum care or extensive care during pregnancy, mainly someone who can assist me during the labor itself.

I plan to labor at home for a bit or have a supportive person besides my partner to help guide me. I would prefer to have my baby natural no medication but I will need the support and education to prepare my body for that

I am planning on giving birth with a midwife at Ogden Regional Hospital. I would like an unmedicated(or low medication), low intervention birth. We are trying to see what prices are realistic. As we are on a tighter budget, so I think $1000 is our cap but would be more comfortable around $600-$800.

I plan to give birth at a hospital or a birth suite right next to a hospital. I care about an unmedicated birth as long as my baby or I are not in danger. Because I’m giving birth in a hospital I want someone who knows hospital policies and can help advocate for me when they suggest something that isn’t necessary. My first was induced and I had an epidural. I plan to go all naturally this time. My birth plan is the following: Comfortable and calming room, limited visitors, intermittent monitoring of the baby, natural pain relief (cold and hot therapy, hypnobirthing, meditation, breathing, shower, tub, TENS unit, etc.), freedom to walk, breathe out my baby and not push, umbilical cord cut after it is not pulsing, protection of golden hour, and breastfeed my baby.

i wanted to give birth in a birthing center but I started seeing a Midwife/OB-GYN at mkay dee hospital ogden and I'm not in love with the experience so far. I want the m out natural birth possible without any medical intervention unless completely necessary but I know giving birth in hospitals they have procedures they automatically follow so I need someone to be my advocate and make sure they follow my birth plan. ideally I want a vaginal birth with laughing gas no epidural
