Hi - I spoke with my insurance Cigna and they confirmed I have 60 days per calendar year with 16 hours per day during this time for a postpartum home health care for me and my newborn. No prior authorization is required. They didn't call it a doula but they called it a PP home health care. They couldn't give me a list of eligible providers, I kept getting either a list of home health care providers (which included nursing homes or Lenox Hill Radiology) or OBGYNs. I would like to connect and discuss how we can work together.

Looking for a doula to help me through my birth experience and also after. Looking for someone who can help guide me as a first time mom. I’m trying to decide where to give birth she says I will be moving from Brooklyn to Nyack in July. I would like to have a hospital birth with an epidural.

My husband and I are expecting our first baby in May and seeking supports to help us transition through becoming new parents. My due date is May 11th and we are planning to deliver out of New York Presbyterian- Alexandra Cohen Hospital. We are looking for assistance in the evenings 5-6 nights a week for the first 3-4 months. We would like someone that is able to provide consistent support, but also flexible with scheduling if we decide to travel a few weekends over the course of the summer. We would like this newborn care specialist to have experience with lactation consultation and sleep training.
