I’m specifically looking for someone who: - Is fluent in both Chinese and English - Has at least 10 years of postpartum/newborn care experience - Is under 50 years old - Has solid hands-on experience caring for twins - Is experienced with newborn care and postpartum recovery I’d prefer someone who is professional, reliable, patient, and comfortable caring for two newborns at the same time. Looking for a birth doula as well as a baby/night nanny. Does not have to be the same person. I will be giving birth at Mt Sinai hospital in NYC (birth doula) but live in Pelham NY (night nanny). I am looking to build an all-Black birth team, including a Black licensed midwife and a Black doula, as culturally responsive care is very important to me. My goal is a calm, low-intervention, unmedicated water birth at home with continuous support, informed consent, and respectful care throughout pregnancy, labor, and postpartum. As the baby nurse, you would be focused on newborn care, feeding, and sleep, as well as assistance with baby laundry. We are open to both night nurses only or full-time live-in nurses. Experience with Jewish practice & circumcision care a plus. French as second language a plus. Our budget is approximately $5K monthly + room & board (if live-in).
