"Awake Overnight Newborn Care Specialist, 10 p.m.–7 a.m. This is a fully awake position; no sleeping during the shift.” Looking for a warm, loving, trustworthy and experiences night nurse/newborn care specialist for our 7 week old baby, who was born late preterm. We're looking for someone with strong newborn experience, especially with feeding and reflux, who will be very nurturing and attentive, holding and comforting her, giving her lot of love, and helping her settle her to sleep. Ideally, 1-2 night initially, increasing to 2-3 nights per week in September and October. From November on, our needs may increase to a more full-time schedule, but were still figuring it out. We're located close near Grand Central. References are required. Budget around $35-$42/hour, depending on experience. Only looking for independent providers and NOT agencies.
