Birth Doula Expecting Multiples Giving birth at the hospital

I plan to give birth in a hospital and I will likely want an epidural. I am looking for a doula who can prepare me physically and emotionally for labor and childbirth since I have always had some anxiety about the idea of labor. My budget is TBD. I am Jewish and I also love the idea of having a Jewish doula.

I would like to give birth at home but live in a basement apartment so I may need to find a birthing center. I have medicaid insurance and would love someone covered but am willing to pay 4.5k for the midwife and doula. I want a no-intervention birth with Ina Mays style of positioning. This is our first baby and we are very excited to welcome her to the world. I plan on giving birth in a hospital. I want to go as natural as possible and it’s very important to me that the doctors respect that. I need someone to advocate for me when I can’t do so myself. I want to labor at home as long as possible and avoid pitocin and an epidural. I also do not want to give my baby the hep B vaccine and I do not want to give them the erythromycin eye ointment. I want to delay cord clamping and have at least one hour of skin-to-skin contact directly after birth :)

I just need someone to help with holding our reflux baby at night so we can get some sleep.

I’m having my second child. I’m planning a hospital birth at Garnet in Middletown, NY. I’m looking for a doula who will support me through labor. My first birth experience was not what I was hoping for. I needed to be induced due to having preeclampsia at 37/38 weeks. I was in labor several days and I pushed for 6 hours. I am hoping to be able to reduce the time. I would like to meet ahead of time and then I’d want my doula present during the birth at the hospital. My anxiety is over whelming primarily due to the experience I had delivery my first baby. My budget is approximately $1,500.
