I wanted to see if I can get a doula that’s covered by insurance, I need someone that’s going to advocate for me in a room full of doctors and help me work through techniques and other things considering I’m a first time mom and I’m a woman of color.my birth plan as of right now is to get all the pain meds lol and have the epidural and try to give birth vaginally and I don’t want any students or residents in my birth room helping or assisting during my birth. My plan is to have the most safest birth I can. My hospital is up in the air right now considering I’m moving by October 1st the latest and don’t know if I’m moving out of Saratoga county if I’m not moving out of Saratoga county then glens fall hospital is where I plan to give birth.
