I would like to find a doula who offers reasonable or flexible pricing for prenatal, birth, and postpartum support. 3. Describe your birth plan I am looking for a supportive and calm birth experience. This is a pregnancy where I want to feel safe, informed, and advocated for during labor and delivery. I would appreciate a doula who can provide emotional support, help me stay relaxed, and guide me through the labor process at the hospital. I am open to pain management options and want someone who can help me make informed decisions in the moment. Location: Frederick, MD 21701, USA
Due date or baby's birthday: May 15, 2026
I am planning to give birth at Frederick Health Hospital (Frederick General Hospital) in Frederick, Maryland. My estimated due date is May 15, 2026. This will be my second baby, and I am hoping for a supportive birth environment with a doula who is familiar with hospital births. am looking to work with a doula who accepts Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance or whose services may be covered or partially reimbursed through this insurance. I am also interested in postpartum support for approximately two weeks after delivery, so I am open to discussing the budget depending on insurance coverage and the services included My goal is to have a natural, unmedicated birth if possible. I would appreciate a doula who can provide calm emotional support, help with breathing techniques and labor positions, and support my preferences for a low-intervention birth whenever it is safe for both baby and me. Since this is my second baby, I am hoping for a smooth experience with guidance during labor and reassurance throughout the process. |

Giving birth at Medstar Georgetown University Hospital. Insurance coverage - Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield Hoping to have a vaginal birth. Kneeling birthing position (not on back unless absolutely necessary). Unable to have an epidural. Hospital has minimal pain management options (maybe some local because I asked about it. Location: Methuen, MA 01844, USA
Due date or baby's birthday: April 10, 2026
LABOR & BIRTH PLAN (HOSPITAL) I am planning a hospital birth and desire the most natural, physiologic birth possible. My goal is an unmedicated vaginal birth. I wish to avoid a cesarean section and would like to decline epidural anesthesia, Pitocin induction or augmentation, and other routine interventions unless medically necessary. Please do not offer epidural or Pitocin unless I specifically request them. I prefer a calm, low-intervention environment with limited people in the room. I do not consent to students or unnecessary staff being present. I request minimal cervical exams, performed only when clinically necessary rather than on a routine schedule. I prefer intermittent fetal monitoring rather than continuous monitoring, as continuous monitoring is not necessary in a low-risk pregnancy and may increase the likelihood of unnecessary interventions. After birth, I request immediate and uninterrupted skin-to-skin contact with my baby. I request delayed cord clamping until the umbilical cord is white and limp, allowing for full placental blood transfer to support oxygenation, circulation, and iron stores. I request a full golden hour after birth with no routine exams, weighing, or procedures, and for nonessential staff to leave the room to allow uninterrupted bonding. I do not consent to controlled cord traction or routine fundal massage unless there is excessive bleeding or a medical indication. I am declining erythromycin eye ointment, as I have tested negative for gonorrhea and chlamydia. I plan to delay the Vitamin K injection until after the golden hour and initial bonding. I request that no Vitamin K be administered without my explicit consent, and that I be asked before any timing or administration. My goal is an informed, respectful birth with shared decision-making and evidence-based care. |

Yolanda is looking for Birth Doula, Lactation Consultant
|
Location: Frederick, MD 21702, USA
Due date or baby's birthday: July 01, 2026
John Hopkins Hospital Price: $1,800-2,000 My goal is to have an Unmedicated birth. This will be baby #2 for us. I had a pretty bad experience with my first where my wishes and concerns were completely ignored. I really wish I had someone there to advocate for me when I couldn’t think clearly, my nurse was very evil person and caused a lot of pain and negativity while I was in labor. I get back labor, and the pain is so unbearable I’d really need someone to help me cope and push through! I’d also love a doula who is very informative on certain things hospitals tend to force mothers into. Would love if my doula were seasoned with At least 4 years of experience. I had a very hard time with postpartum recovery which I believe hindered me from being able to breastfeed since I was under so much stress. I would really love to breastfeed this time around. |
