I am a holistic doula and community midwife that aims to support moms in whatever capacity birth looks like for them. I am also a childbirth educator and an apprentice midwife transitioning into fulltime licensed midwifery.

I’m a Certified Doula and a Registered Nurse with a background in High Risk Obstetrics, Infertility and Women’s Health. I hold an BSN in Nursing and I became a certified Doula in 2023. I am a wife and a entrepreneur. While experiencing my own struggles with infertility, I have come to find that the experience of pregnancy and childbirth have always been important to me. As a nurse and community advocate, I have been disheartened by the maternal- fetal mortality and morbidity rates among minority women in the U.S. I want to combat these increasing rates by helping women achieve their utmost and most desirable birth experiences by provider birth planning, childbirth education, labor and postpartum support. Hi, I’m LaTory “Ms. Tory” Whitney — founder and creative director of The Maternal Concierge. My work is deeply rooted in helping families feel supported, cared for, and less alone during pregnancy, postpartum, and early parenthood. My name is Jasmine, but many know me as Jas the Doula. I am a mama of two and I have a passion for women's health. I know firsthand how invaluable doula support is. As an RN, I thought I was well-prepared for childbirth. At the urging of my midwife, I sought doula support for the birth of my 1st baby. My doula’s physical & emotional presence during a long labor & strenuous delivery was crucial, & I left the experience convinced that a doula should be present at every birth. Soon my friends began to come to me for birthing support, & I attended births as a friend & advocate. I fell in love with birth work & completed doula training with ToLabor in April 2020. I help my clients navigate their options to make informed decisions that work well for their family & their goals. I want to make sure you are seen & heard.
