About Wanda

I’m a Certified Doula and a Registered Nurse with a background in High Risk Obstetrics, Infertility and Women’s Health. I hold an BSN in Nursing and I became a certified Doula in 2023. I am a wife and a entrepreneur. While experiencing my own struggles with infertility, I have come to find that the experience of pregnancy and childbirth have always been important to me. As a nurse and community advocate, I have been disheartened by the maternal- fetal mortality and morbidity rates among minority women in the U.S. I want to combat these increasing rates by helping women achieve their utmost and most desirable birth experiences by provider birth planning, childbirth education, labor and postpartum support. Whether you are planning for a natural labor at home or a more medically assisted birth in a hospital, I am will be there to assist in the birth experience you deserve! My personal mission is to support and advocate for childbearing women of any age.

I offer packages which include childbirth education, birth support, and post-partum starting at $700. Consultations are available.

Wanda is amazing! I had my daughter in my late 30 thirties and experience many complications. I don't know how I would have made it without Wanda. The care she took in explaining things to, helping me reduce my stress, helping me to prepare for my daughters birth was a blessing. She continued this care well after I had my daughter. Wanda provided, additional breast feeding support and guidance. With Wanda you are with family. She cares about you and takes every steps necessary to endure a successful birth and mom after. What an amazing soul!!
