Mrs. Cooper supported me throughout my labor and delivery and served as my advocate during moments when I could not remember certain needs and details included in my birth plan. One of the greatest parts of my experience was the love, care, and support she provided during my postpartum journey. I booked her for two weeks, and during that time, I was able to get much-needed rest, eat nourishing meals, and learn helpful techniques for caring for my newborn. I miss her already! Doulas are needed, and I truly believe we should see more of them supporting families in our hospitals and homes.
