About me
Greetings to you all! My name is Ana and I am a Certified Birth & Postpartum Doula, Childbirth Educator, Breastfeeding Counselor & Student Midwife located in the Kansas City Metro Area. I believe education in this field is continuous, not just from all the various certifications alone but from experience in how to lovingly handle the range of possible outcomes of birth. The perinatal time is precious as it cannot be recreated. It is the foundation on which the family's future healing is built, and careful empathetic care during that time can positively influence the way the family heals and integrates. Thus, I help my clients discover what they want and facilitate learning & a plan to accomplish it. My services are designed and tailored on an individual basis, specific to each unique pregnancy and desired birth experience. Embracing the whole and not just the parts to offer you the support you need to birth as you choose and to help you facilitate the right atmosphere for a calm & peaceful birth.

The service that I looked over and read about is exactly what I recieved! She took her time explaining things to me wether it was options in health care or what things I could eat to better my health and also things high in nutrients that are needed for me and baby. She was super helpful with assisting me ensure all my questions and some I didnt think to ask were asked while at the doctor appointments. She helped me figure out a successful birth plan and sent me information (videos, articles, slideshows) as well to help me better understand why a birth plan is so important. Overall will definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and helpful doula.
