Hi, I’m Siedah Israel, a Certified Labor Doula, Holistic Wellness Practitioner, and Certified Herbalist based in Fredericksburg in Spotsylvania County, Virginia. I’m a wife of 15 years and a homeschooling mother of five. My wellness and birth advocacy journey began with earning a certificate in Massage Therapy from Eastern Virginia Career College in 2018. I later completed my Doula Certification through Germanna Community College in 2024 and graduated with honors in Herbal Studies from the American College of Healthcare Sciences in 2025. I am currently in Phase I of the PEP process as I work toward becoming a Certified Professional Midwife (CPM). I have extensive experience supporting families through hospital births, birth center births, and home births. Personally, I have experienced three hospital births and two home births, which deeply informs the care, perspective, and support I offer to the families I serve. When I’m not supporting families, I enjoy homeschooling, spending time outdoors with my children, writing poetry, working on my werewolf novel, and handcrafting natural hair and skincare products. It is a true honor to walk alongside families with compassion, cultural awareness, and grounded support during such a sacred season of life.

I truly do not know what I would have done without Siedah, and I believe I amucky to have found her for my second birth. As someone who has gone through a traumatic birth experience my first pregnancy, I knew I needed some additional support outside of my husband. But, let's talk about the process even before birth. Months before giving birth, Siedah reminded me and helped me re-process my trauma. Made me really think about how I wanted things to go this time around. To make me confident as well in asking questions about my care and babies care. I feel like that was a huge part in the success of my second birth experience. Fast forward to the actual birth, Siedah asked all the healthcare staff the right questions, or had them re-explain what was going on. I did have to be induced as I had pre-eclampsia. Everything went so smooth, it was exactly how I imagined it. Not to mention how fast it all went too! Siedah has such a big heart, and you can tell she truly cares about you; wants what is best for you too! She treats you like family, and reminds you to choose yourself which can be hard sometimes to remember when you're a mom. You won't regret having her by your side.

Susan is very down to earth, friendly, and thoughtful. She helped us think and plan through our first pregnancy, as we had no idea where to start. It was truly a blessing having an expert in your corner to help navigate all the expected and unexpected things that come with pregnancy and new parenthood. Now that our baby is here, Susan still regular checks up on us to make sure our family is doing well and thriving.

I bring a heart-centered, holistic approach to birth work—rooted in deep empathy, empowerment, and unwavering trust in the sacred journey of motherhood. I believe birth is not just a physical experience; it’s a profoundly emotional and spiritual transformation—for the mother and the entire family. My philosophy centers on honoring your intuition, supporting informed choices, and holding space for you to feel seen, heard, and respected at every stage of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. I am not here to take control. I am here to walk beside you, uplift you, and remind you of your innate power as a parent. My practice is grounded in compassion, cultural sensitivity, and the understanding that no two birth journeys are the same. I meet you where you are—whether you're planning a serene home birth, a hospital delivery, or anything in between. Through education, advocacy, and unwavering support, I help parents navigate their options and move forward with confidence and clarity. The postpartum journey is just as important—and sacred—as pregnancy and birth. I believe this period deserves just as much care and intention. My approach is rooted in nurturing the whole person—mind, body, and spirit—while creating a soft landing for you to heal, bond, and grow into your new rhythm. Whether you're a first-time parent or welcoming another baby into your family, I offer nonjudgmental support, compassionate listening, and practical help tailored to your unique needs. From emotional reassurance and newborn care guidance to light housework and breastfeeding or bottle feeding support, I work to create a calm, grounded environment where your recovery and your baby’s transition are deeply honored. I see postpartum not as a time to “bounce back,” but a time to be held, nourished, and affirmed. You don’t have to do this alone. I’m here to make you feel seen, safe, and supported every step of the way. This work is more than a profession for me—it is a calling. A calling to serve, nurture, and restore dignity and joy to the birthing experience.

Whether you need hands-on support, guidance, or simply someone in your corner, I’m here to help you labor your way.

I can’t recommend Alora at Zenlena Partum Care enough! She supported me through my prenatal care, labor, birth, and postpartum journey, and I truly couldn’t have asked for a better doula. She helped me prepare for labor, guided me through laboring at home for as long as possible, and kept me feeling calm, informed, and confident every step of the way. She also made sure my partner knew exactly how to support me by teaching him countermeasures, which made such a difference during labor. What stood out most was how much she genuinely cared. Her support didn’t stop after delivery she continued to check in and make sure I was doing well. If you’re looking for a compassionate, knowledgeable, and supportive doula, I highly recommend Alora at Zenlena Partum Care. I would choose her again without hesitation. 10/10!

Postpartum care is essential for both mother and baby. It is important to make sure that your mental, emotional, and physical well-being are supported and balanced during this important season. Having an extended village is also incredibly valuable, which is why I chose to invest in a doula during this pregnancy. Mrs. Sabrina Cooper, @from_womb_to_mom, is truly a phenomenal doula. Mrs. Cooper supported me throughout my labor and delivery and served as my advocate during moments when I could not remember certain needs and details included in my birth plan. One of the greatest parts of my experience was the love, care, and support she provided during my postpartum journey. I booked her for two weeks, and during that time, I was able to get much-needed rest, eat nourishing meals, and learn helpful techniques for caring for my newborn. I miss her already! Doulas are needed, and I truly believe we should see more of them supporting families in our hospitals and homes. If you are currently pregnant and located in the Hampton Roads area, please book Mrs. Cooper now! The love, support, guidance, and care that you and your baby or babies will receive will truly make your experience unforgettable. Thank you so much, Mrs. Cooper, for everything you have done for me and my family. Your support has meant more than words can express. May GOD continue to bless you and the beautiful work you do. 🙏🏾🫂👶🏾 Mrs. Cooper captured the hospital picture of my newborn. I think she should go into photography. 🤗 Website: https://www.fromwombtomom.com/

Hello! I am a Christian Mother of 5, Nurse, Birth and Postpartum Doula and Childbirth Educator. I have had the honor and privilege of helping others on this journey into motherhood. This is not a privilege that I take lightly. I want every parent to know that their voice matters and help them to actualize the strength they have within. Over the years I have picked up many tools in my toolbox to help with this. I am CPR and NRP certified, BSN prepared Nurse, worked in Labor and Delivery as a nurse for over 10 years, taken Spinning Babies course, assisted in both home and hospital births, taken advanced vbac skills courses, Advanced fetal monitor training, among much more. I would love to be your doula and if you think we would be a good fit, please don't hesitate to reach out.

Aris is an absolutely incredible doula. I recently gave birth to my first child and can honestly say that having Aris at my birth made what would have otherwise been a pretty traumatic experience, a very calm and empowering one. My birth plan had to pretty much go out the window due to unpredictable events during labor, and Aris was with me every step of the way, helping me feel like I was still in control when everything seemed like it was crumbling. She helped me reframe things in ways that my brain could understand at the time, and for that I am so grateful! She also advocated for me at multiple points to keep whatever aspects of my birth plan could still be safely implemented. She constantly anticipated my needs during the labor process and never once seemed tired despite staying up with us all throughout the night. She was also amazing at physically supporting me during labor with various counter-pressure and distracting sensation techniques. She taught my husband what to do as well, but honestly she was 1000x better at it and was so much stronger than him lol! My husband and I are both physicians who are relatively educated about the birth process, but she is truly a labor and delivery expert and taught us so much. Her experience as a labor and delivery nurse as well as a mother of five children makes her extremely qualified for this role. I cannot think of anyone I would recommend more if you are looking for a doula. If you are considering having a doula support you during your pregnancy/birth/postpartum, choose Aris -- you won't regret it! It was truly the best decision we made for my birth.

Hi, I'm Lauren! As a mother of three, I've personally experienced the full spectrum of childbirth - from epidurals to breech C-sections to the empowering journey of natural birth. My own experiences ignited a passion within me to support and empower other mothers on their own unique paths to motherhood. I was privileged to use a doula in all three births and having her transformed our birth experience. I felt supported and listened to, my husband truly appreciated how involved he was in the birth as well.

Recent review

Halfway through my 3rd pregnancy I knew I wanted to try out the possibility of having a doula. I did not have one with my first baby and I believe having one would have drastically helped. I found Lauren through a friend and immediately called her, she was everything I needed and more. She was calm, understood my preferences and beliefs and we immediately clicked! She was always a phone call/text away through my whole pregnancy when I had questions or needed advice! When I went into labor my husband had to be with my family so she came to my house to support me through labor, she was magical! Although my birth did not end up how I would have ever imagined, she never left my side. She was there praying with me when they told me I would need a c section, she was there for me through the c section and came to visit postpartum in the hospital and at home. She was absolutely incredible and I would recommend her to anyone!

Hi! My name is Joricely, I am a certified Birth & Postparum Doula. Having birthed two children of my own in & out of the hospital system, I quickly discovered the challenges between expecting families and healthcare providers. My goal is to provide evidence based education so that the families I support feel confident in making informed decisions for themselves and their baby. I believe that birth is a sacred experience and it should be treated as such !

Recent review

Being a 3rd time mom and not previously using any support other than my obgyn and others in the medical field for my pregnancies i thought i had it all down packed as far as my plan through out pregnancy & labor. Until i ran into Jori with Madre Doula and she helped me understand that there’s so much more options out there than what your doctors offer you. That you’re not obligated to schedule an induction or a C-section at 40 weeks. That our bodies know exactly what it is doing. She helped me become better informed about all my options. She helped me come up with my entire birth plan According to what made ME feel comfortable despite what the doctors recommended or wanted to force upon me. She showed up during the active labor part of labor to make sure my birth plan was being stuck to and she made sure that i was feeling comfortable, and being supported. We forget how much pain & in a daze you can be and your mind can be in when it’s all happening. This is why you honestly need someone To be able to be there to advocate for you and your choices. I loved having her as my peace of mind. With her as my doula It didn’t end at labor, She also made sure to check up on me post partum and see how everything was going. I still had so many new questions that came up for me although having experience child birth before and she was able to provide me with support & comfort. Again I’d recommend her over and over again. For experienced moms and first time moms!

Hello! My name is jabria but I go by Rosalind. It was a nickname given to me in the Army. My background is 12 years of medicine as a medic in the Army. I am still serving in the Army national guard. I have my certified personal training certification and group fitness certification; and I am currently enrolled in exercise physiology through Concordia University, in pursuit of practicing medicine as a physician assistant upon completion of my bachelors in Fall 2026; and masters hopefully 2028. I pursued becoming a doula because I have always been passionate about women’s health. In fact, I took up personal training because I wanted to help women in postpartum combat depression and snap back to theirselves. I witnessed many friends struggle with taking the army physical fitness test and figured there had to be some way to be of some impact for all women who may deal with this, in either their career or daily life. Being a doula is important to me because I believe that women need more support in child birth and labor. I want to be apart of breaking the stigma with childbirth being painful and scary. I want to be apart of making childbirth more comfortable and a beautiful experience for women. I also believe with my expertise that I could offer packages that benefit women physically and mentally pre and post partum.

Recent review

My experience with Jabria from start to finish has been absolutely amazing. Transitioning to a new state where I had no family nearby, I had a lot of concerns and emotions surrounding my pregnancy and birth experience. Jabria took the time to truly listen to all of my concerns—from my transition, my concerns about the hospitals, and my needs and wants for my labor experience. She went above and beyond to make sure I felt supported. She proactively checked in on me, made sure she was available to help in any way possible, and even met with me beforehand to practice labor exercises and go over other things that would help me feel prepared for birth. When it was finally time for labor, she stayed in contact with me. I went to the hospital around 3 AM, and when I reached out to let her know it was time, she immediately responded and talked me through what I could do to help progress my labor. She showed up at the perfect time and was there every step of the way. She helped assist the nurses in making sure I was comfortable, helped position me during labor, and even stepped in to support me when my partner and I both needed to rest. She was constantly checking on me, making sure I was okay, and advocating for my needs. She was also able to capture some amazing photos throughout my labor that I will cherish forever. I appreciate Jabria more than I can put into words. She has been so much more than a doula—she has truly become a great friend and someone I felt completely comfortable trusting during such an important and vulnerable time in my life. I would absolutely recommend Jabria to any woman looking for a doula and someone who will genuinely advocate for her, support her, and make sure she feels heard throughout her pregnancy and birth experience.Thank you so much, Jabria, for everything you have done for me. I am truly grateful to have had you by my side! ❤️
