I cannot recommend Jihad enough! From the moment we started working together, she made me feel supported, heard, and cared for every step of the way. As a first-time mom, I was nervous about pregnancy, labor, and becoming a parent. She helped ease so many of those fears by providing education, encouragement, and a safe space to ask questions without judgment. My labor was long, but she was there from the moment I received the news that I would need to be induced and remained by my side throughout my hospital stay. She made sure I was never alone. Even when she needed to step away to rest or attend to other responsibilities, she arranged for trusted doulas she personally knew to stay with me—and even sleep over at the hospital—so I would always have someone by my side. That level of dedication meant more to me than words can express. No matter how my birth plan changed, I never questioned whether I had someone in my corner because Jihad made sure I always did. Although my birth didn’t go as planned and ended in a C-section, she continued to advocate for me, encourage me, and support me through every decision. Her calm presence brought me comfort during one of the most vulnerable experiences of my life. What made her truly special was that she wasn’t just my doula—she became my friend. She celebrated the highs with me, stood by me through the difficult moments, and genuinely cared about my well-being beyond her role. I always felt like I had someone in my corner who truly wanted the best for me and my baby. Her care didn’t stop after my baby was born. She continued checking in on me during postpartum, offering guidance, encouragement, and reminding me that I wasn’t alone as I adjusted to motherhood.
