Hi, I’m Nicole! I’m a postpartum doula in training with over 20 years of experience supporting and caring for people and families as a Registered Massage Therapist. I’m also a mom of two, so I understand firsthand how wonderful, overwhelming, exhausting, and emotional the postpartum period can be. My approach is warm, practical, and completely judgement-free. I believe new parents deserve to be cared for too. Whether that means newborn support, helping with feeding, preparing a meal, folding laundry, caring for siblings, or simply giving you the opportunity to shower, sleep, and catch your breath, I’m there to make life at home feel a little easier. My goal is to support each family in the way that works best for them and help parents feel confident, rested, and cared for as they adjust to life with their new baby.

Postpartum Doula Support

Personalized in-home support for you and your family after baby arrives. Care may include newborn and feeding support, recovery support, meal preparation, light housekeeping and laundry, sibling care, and time for you to rest, shower or simply catch your breath. 3 hour minimum

$40 CAD · Per hour

Overnight Postpartum Support

Overnight support designed to help your family get more rest during the newborn stage. Depending on your family’s feeding plan, support may include newborn care between feeds, bottle feeding, settling baby, diaper changes, washing bottles or pump parts, and helping make nighttime routines a little easier. 6 hour minimum

$45 CAD · Per hour

What to expect

I specialize in postpartum doula care, supporting families as they adjust to life with a new baby. I provide practical, hands-on help including newborn and feeding support, meal preparation, light household tasks, laundry, sibling care, and daytime or overnight support. My role is to care for the whole family so parents have more opportunity to rest, recover and enjoy those early weeks.

What does a postpartum doula do?

A postpartum doula provides practical, emotional and informational support after your baby arrives. Every family’s needs are different, so our time together may include newborn care, feeding support, meal preparation, laundry, light household tasks, sibling care or simply giving you time to sleep, shower and recover.

What happens during a typical visit?

There really isn’t a “typical” visit! I’ll check in when I arrive and we’ll decide what would be most helpful that day. Some days you may need an extra set of hands with baby, while other days you may need a meal prepared, laundry folded and the opportunity to take a nap. My support is built around what your family needs.

Do you offer overnight postpartum support?

Yes. Overnight care is available to help your family get more rest during the newborn stage. Depending on your feeding preferences, I can assist with newborn care between feeds, diaper changes, settling, bottle feeding, washing bottles or pump parts, and helping make nighttime feeds as easy as possible.

How far in advance should I book postpartum support?

You’re welcome to contact me during pregnancy to arrange support for after your baby arrives. I also welcome families who have already had their baby and realize they could use some extra help. Availability will depend on my existing client schedule.

Are you a certified postpartum doula?

I am currently completing my postpartum doula training through Doula School Canada. I also bring 20+ years of professional experience caring for clients as a Registered Massage Therapist, along with my own experience as a mother of two. I’m currently welcoming families while completing my certification requirements.

Do I need to book a package?

Not at all! Every family’s needs are different. You’re welcome to start with a single postpartum visit and see how the support feels before committing to additional care. If you already know you’d like ongoing support, packages are available and we can create a schedule that works for you and your family.
