I plan to give birth in a hospital because I want access to medical care and support if it is needed. At the same time, I would like my birth experience to be calm, respectful, and as comfortable as possible. I am interested in creating a birth plan so I can communicate my preferences clearly, such as pain management options, who is present during labor, and how I would like to be supported emotionally. Having guidance from a doula would help me feel more prepared, informed, and confident during labor and delivery.
Looking for doula for birth and also postpardum needs
I live in Ledyard, CT, but I plan to give birth at South County Hospital in Wakefield, RI. I am still working out the details of my birth plan, but I am hoping to have an unmedicated birth. This is my first baby, so someone knowledgeable about breastfeeding and establishing newborn sleep patterns would be appreciated. I have TriCare Prime.
Manchester hospital Medicaid Vbac. 3rd baby my second was a c section. I tend to have large babies and they pressured me into it. I really want to have a vbac and try to have no epidural

Plan to give birth at a hospital (L&M hospital in New London), tricare select covers doulas so hopefully I can find a doula that’s covered by our health insurance. My first was a very long induced labor, about 56 hours and I pushed for 3 hours. Ended up having a c section and would love to try a vbac this time around.
We plan on giving birth at the hospital as it is our first and I found out I have gestational diabetes. We don't know what to expect for budgeting for a doula, we're hoping to have someone who's fully authorized and certified with Tricare for direct billing. Natural birth, hopefully unmedicated, lots of movement, and showers hopefully helping with the pain. I'm really wanting to try to deliver vaginally, but I'm nervous about my size and pain management.
I am planning to give birth at Backus Hospital. My birth plan includes having an epidural depending on pain levels- Although the less medical intervention, the better. I plan to breastfeed. No particular budget. I have Husky Health CT for insurance. I am seeking a birth doula and postpartum doula.

Hi , I’m Marissa. I’m 25 years old and I’m due October 24th 2026. My husband and I are having a baby girl. I am interested having a doula through my Medicaid Insurance. I just really need the basics of just an extra advocate to be there in the hospital. I think it’s the smartest decision to have someone else besides my husband advocating for me if hospital gives me push back. I am planning to do an unmedicated birth , with free moving and switching positions. I believe if you are stressed and only allowed to be just on your back it doesn’t promote a smooth delivery. I really want to stick with my beliefs unless it’s a serious emergency . I want the experience to be as natural as possible unless it’s urgent.
1. Hospital: Middlesex hospital in Middletown CT 2. $700 3. Possibly c section, first time pregnant
My insurance doesn't cover doulas and I was wondering how much your full service is from not until labor and delivery . I have a lot of anxiety regarding giving birth and it's my first child and just looking for someone to talk with me prior and be there for my fiancé and I during.
Hi! I’m a first-time parent, English-speaking, and I’m planning to transfer my care to Manchester Memorial Hospital for a tub or water birth if I remain low-risk. I’m looking for a doula who can support me and my partner during labor, offering both physical comfort and emotional guidance. I’d love someone calm, reassuring, and experienced in helping first-time parents feel confident. Flexibility is important to me in case my birth plan needs to change, and I’d also like prenatal guidance leading up to labor.
