Hi! I’m currently looking for a birth doula to support me during labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period. I’ve experienced postpartum hemorrhage with my last three births, which were all hospital births, so having knowledgeable and reassuring support is especially important to me. I’m planning another hospital birth and do not plan to be induced this time. I’d also appreciate some guidance and support with postpartum recovery and newborn care. I’m looking for someone compassionate, experienced, and comfortable supporting a higher-risk birth history alongside my medical team.

3rd baby and originally planning a vbac at home in Aurora, however discovered I have placenta previa again so have been treated high risk if or until its resolved. If it resolves closer to due date, I'll try for an unmedicated birth at Rush Copley in Aurora, obviously if it doesnt resolve I'll need another c-section. Plan to give birth in a hospital due to no local birth center. I am unaware how much a doula cost. I want to do fully unmedicated if possible! I am 27 my boyfriend is 30. I am hoping to be able to build a connection to ask questions and learn about my body during and after pregnancy.
