We are expecting twin boys in December and are looking for an experienced postpartum doula or newborn care specialist for overnight support in Manhattan. Ideally, we would like help 4–5 nights per week, approximately 10–12 hours per night, for the first 1-2 months after delivery. We are specifically looking for someone with strong newborn experience, preferably someone who has cared for twins overnight independently. Support would include feeding, burping, diaper changes, soothing, bottle washing/preparation, and helping establish a safe sleep routine so that my husband and I can get some rest. Experience with premature or early-term babies would be a plus. CPR certification and references are preferred. We are flexible on the exact schedule and would love to discuss availability, experience with twins, and rates. Japanese-speaking would be a plus, but is not required.

We are in Long Island City and are looking for a practical, evidence-based postpartum professional for recurring overnight newborn support, ideally around 10 p.m.–8 a.m. or another 10-hour window, beginning shortly after birth and continuing for roughly 4–8 weeks. Hello! We are pregnant with our first child and I am really interested in having a Doula. I am a patient at Oula seeing their team of midwives and plan to deliver at Mount Sinai West. I live in Astoria, Queens. I am hopeful to have an unmedicated, natural birth and would like to learn as many breathing, movement, push positions, etc as possible to help achieve this goal. I am currently on Anthem BCBS Medicaid as a graduate student and have a tighter budget, but understand the importance of the care and knowledge that doulas provide.
