We are expecting twin boys in December and are looking for an experienced postpartum doula or newborn care specialist for overnight support in Manhattan. Ideally, we would like help 4–5 nights per week, approximately 10–12 hours per night, for the first 1-2 months after delivery. We are specifically looking for someone with strong newborn experience, preferably someone who has cared for twins overnight independently. Support would include feeding, burping, diaper changes, soothing, bottle washing/preparation, and helping establish a safe sleep routine so that my husband and I can get some rest. Experience with premature or early-term babies would be a plus. CPR certification and references are preferred. We are flexible on the exact schedule and would love to discuss availability, experience with twins, and rates. Japanese-speaking would be a plus, but is not required.

Hi! We’re looking for an experienced overnight newborn care specialist/night nanny for our 3-month-old daughter, who was born a few weeks early. We’re in Midtown East and are looking for approximately 4 nights per week (mon-friday) for about 2 months, starting in early October. Ideally around 9:00pm–6:30/7am (flexible). Our main goal is to get sleep while having someone experienced with newborns who can very gradually and gently help establish healthy, age-appropriate sleep habits. Experience with late-preterm babies, reflux/gas/feeding issues, and overnight care is a big plus. Budget is around $325-350/night. Prefer a flat rate. We’re a family in Dobbs Ferry, NY 10522 (Westchester Rivertowns; Metro-North Hudson Line stop in town, parking available) expecting our second child, due Oct 14 and home around Oct 16–17. We’re looking for an overnight newborn care specialist, night nanny or postpartum doula for 3–4 nights a week for 4 weeks, from about Oct 17 to Nov 14, with a possible extension. Nights: ideally Mon/Wed/Fri, plus Sun if 4 nights; a Sun–Wed block also works. Shift: 9 or 10 pm to 7 am, awake the whole time. The last 30 minutes are a reset: wash and sterilize bottles and pump parts, restock the fridge with labeled bottles, update the feed/sleep/diaper log. Feeding: my wife is nursing and pumping (hands-free pump), with ready-to-feed formula as backup. You’d bring the baby to her to nurse at wake-ups, or feed pumped milk, then take him back for burping, changing and resettling. Real experience supporting a nursing-and-pumping mom matters most to us. You and the baby would have a room downstairs (pack ‘n play, chair, bottle warmer, a cooler of labeled bottles); you’d bring him upstairs to my wife to nurse, and the kitchen with the sterilizer is next to you for the end-of-shift reset. Must-haves: infant CPR current; NCS certification or three recent overnight references; background check; Tdap, flu and RSV vaccines current (COVID preferred); strict AAP safe sleep (back, flat, bare surface); reliable transport to Dobbs Ferry. Nice to have: lactation training, postpartum doula experience, Spanish. Pay: $40–55/hr depending on experience, paid W-2 through a household payroll service, weekly direct deposit.
