Hospital, medicated, second birth, had difficulty with first birth - vacuum used, full episiotomy, 3 hour active pushing, daughter wasn’t breathing for first few seconds. Need assistance with preparation and coaching through second natural birth if all goes to plan

I would like to stay flexible while aiming for as low-intervention of a birth as safely possible. Pain management options are still being considered, and I value education, informed decision-making, movement/position support during labor, partner involvement, and postpartum recovery guidance. This is my first baby (a girl, due September 2026), and I would especially appreciate support navigating labor, hospital communication, breastfeeding initiation, and the immediate postpartum period. - Certified doula preferred Experience supporting first-time mothers and hospital births Familiarity with gestational diabetes/pregnancy monitoring preferred Calm, reassuring, collaborative communication style Comfortable working alongside medical providers and advocating respectfully 3+ years of experience preferred, but personality fit is also very important Bonus if familiar with South Asian/Indian family dynamics or cultural considerations

Im giving birth at reading hospital tho I might switch to Saint Joe's as its alittle closer this is my 1st baby I want to go as natural as possible no breaking my water or induced unless necessary I also want a delayed cord cutting and the golden hour no hepatitis b shot and honestly thats all me and my partner have decided on im not really sure about a budget but somewhere around 1k

I do not want to give birth at the hospital, but at a birthing center for the most natural birth/ freedom to decide what I want for me and my baby. Planning on a natural birth with no medicines, and if possible, a doula or midwife with Christian beliefs and values. I'm unsure of costs as it will be through my work insurance. I'm still working on my birth plan, but I'd like to labor at home for as long as possible, would like a birthing pool/tub, delayed cord clamping, deliver placenta naturally

I just moved to Stewartsville, NJ and I am a first time, soon to be mom. I am currently in the process of transferring obgyn and haven’t found a hospital yet. What I do know is, I want a unmedicated birth. I am looking for someone who could help me prepare myself for labor as well as postpartum recovery. I have years of experience with children of all ages so I am not too worried about daily newborn tasks. I am most concerned about my well being before and after birth. My husband also works nights so there is a possibility I may need some assistance at night if things aren’t going well but I obviously won’t know until we get to that point! I am hoping I can find a doula that is covered by my insurence as well. I have blue cross blue shield and my secondary insurence is tricare. I hope to hear back soon!
