I plan to give birth in the hospital in case there are any medical emergencies with me being high risk (I’m 37). My insurance should pay for this. I don’t currently have a birth plan, as I’m only 10 weeks and am doing this alone.

I was trying to have birth in a birthing center but I am not sure if my insurance covers that but I would like a midwife for my appointments and for my hospital birth. This will be my 3rd baby, and I really want to try something different. I am very strong minded during birth and I loved the experience with my first 2. Now I just want to try to do it without medicine and I want me and my husband to have an intimate time together. I was induced both pregnancies. I tend to lose fluid at the end which leads to inducing me early that’s really the only thing that was an issue for me. Insurance: I have United health care choice plus HSA through my job. Budget: not really sure. I asked another birthing center and they were asking $750 a month and that’s just really expensive.

I’m currently around 20 weeks pregnant and planning for a home birth. I’ve already received prenatal care and have my anatomy scan scheduled. I’m looking for a midwife who is experienced with home births and open to working within a budget of around $4,000. I want as little done as possible, including no medications/vaccines for my child. I want a provider that believes natural is an option worth having. I currently have an OBGYN that does accept my medicaid. I had a c section with my daughter in 2022, and I really want to try for a vaginal birth. My OBGYN and I are not connecting as I would like and I did more research and feel better finding a mid wife or doula that I can connect with and listen to my wants and needs. I appreciate it! I plan on giving birth in a hospital setting. have medicaid health insurance. I believe its a cooks childrens plan but I would need to double check.
