My goal is to nurture and support you through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum so you never feel alone. I believe birth is a normal physiological process and not a medical event. Every family deserves to feel safe, respected, and heard. Birth is meant to be intimate and sacred, but our current care system often overlooks that. I want to help restore that sense of trust and connection. My journey into birth work began with my own path to motherhood. My husband and I have five children — four girls and one boy — and we spent eight years raising our family in Utah before relocating to Pocatello in 2020. Becoming a mother has been the single most meaningful and transformative experience of my life — and also the hardest. From facing high-risk pregnancies, premature birth, feeding struggles, and NICU stays, I know how much it means to have someone by your side who listens, reassures, and nurtures you through it all. I’ve always felt called to this work as a way to honor the generations of women who came before me and to walk beside those navigating this vulnerable, powerful time. It’s a sacred honor to be invited into the inner circle of a birthing woman and hold space as she brings new life into the world and as she is born into motherhood. Professionally, I hold a Bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Utah. I trained with DONA International and am cross-certified with ProDoula as both a Birth and Postpartum Doula. My approach blends evidence-based education with heartfelt, personalized care so that every family feels empowered, nurtured, and supported. I became a Birthing Instructor because I believe so strongly that women are rockstars. We are capable of so much. Through learning and discovery about your body and its innate abilities, you can have the confidence that you can have an empowering birth. I want to give couples the knowledge they need to make informed decisions and find the care they deserve. I want partners to feel special and included in the birth. I have four beautiful boys and I have had four completely different births! Because of that, I have seen that it doesn’t matter where you birth, it matters HOW you birth. With education, practice and confidence, you can have a satisfying pregnancy, labor and delivery! What does “Kindacrunchy”mean? I have discovered a passion for essential oils, herbs, homeopathy, non-toxic living, etc. I’m not all these things all the time however. We sometimes eat whole foods/ organic, I live for chiropractic care but I’ll pop an occasional Tylenol (migraines are my nemesis). I prefer disposable diapers to cloth and I love me some co-sleeping/babywearing. I’m learning how to make sourdough and kombucha on my own and constantly learning. So….kinda crunchy for the win! My intentions are just to share the things that I’ve learned and have made my family and I strong. I want you to feel capable knowing you can care for yourself and your family.

I have connected with childbirth and pregnancy since I was a little girl. Birth was amazing to me and I knew that I wanted to be in the delivery room helping women. I was fortunate to learn about and find a doula for my first child. Having a doula was life changing, and the support and love I felt will never be forgotten.
