Peace starts at birth — and every parent deserves to feel supported, informed, and deeply cared for throughout their journey into parenthood. Hi, I’m Trinity, a birth and postpartum doula passionate about supporting growing families through pregnancy, birth, postpartum recovery, and the emotional transitions that come with becoming a parent. Whether you’re preparing for your first baby, navigating postpartum emotions, struggling with breastfeeding or pumping, adjusting to sleepless nights, or learning how to care for yourself while caring for a newborn, you do not have to go through it alone. I offer a calm, compassionate, and non-judgmental space for parents — especially mothers who may be feeling overwhelmed, anxious, emotionally exhausted, or unsure in their new role. My goal is to help you feel grounded, empowered, and supported every step of the way. I have experience supporting both medicated and unmedicated births and offer personalized support tailored to your unique goals and needs. For families interested in a natural, low-intervention birth experience, I also offer hypnobirthing guidance, breathing techniques, visualization exercises, and guided meditations to help prepare your mind and body for birth in a peaceful and intentional way. Some of the ways I can support you include: • Birth planning and emotional preparation • Postpartum emotional support and adjustment • Breastfeeding and pumping support • Sleep and newborn routine guidance • Introducing older siblings to a new baby • Couples transitioning into parenthood together • Guided meditation and breathing sessions • Postpartum recovery and gentle core-strengthening support • Healthy meal prep and nurturing household support • Creating calming environments for birth and postpartum recovery • Ongoing encouragement, education, and compassionate care I believe every birth journey deserves gentleness, respect, and support — no matter what path your birth takes. I currently offer a free 15-minute consultation call so we can connect, discuss your needs, and see if we’re a good fit. After that, support sessions are available for $30 per 45-minute session. Hi, I’m Syllona. I’m a birth and postpartum doula, childbirth educator, hypnobirthing instructor, and maternal health researcher — centering well-being, equity, and accessibility in all that I do. My approach is trauma-informed and person-centered, drawing on my background in social work and over seven years of experience supporting people through major life transitions. I believe every birthing person and family deserves to feel confident, informed, respected, and empowered throughout their pregnancy, birth, and postpartum journey. When we work together, you’ll receive compassionate, evidence-based support tailored to your needs. I will support you in everything from navigating the medical system to preparing emotionally and physically for birth. My goal is to ensure you feel safe, heard, and deeply supported every step of the way. I have specialized training in supporting birthing people with a history of trauma — including previous birth trauma, sexual or physical violence, or experiences of systemic barriers in care. Together, we’ll hold space for your story and move forward in a way that honours your strength, autonomy, and healing.

Syllona’s warm, patient demeanour was just what we needed as first-time parents. We felt safe, heard, and supported throughout our time with her. She shared plenty of resources with us and was generous with her knowledge and time, providing support tailored to our needs. During labour she jumped in proactively with pain management techniques and provided tangible guidance when considering different medical interventions. Our baby also loved her gentle approach during the postpartum visit. Overall, working with Syllona was so worth it and we look forward to keeping in touch!

My path to becoming a doula began with my own births. As a mother, I have experienced how deeply birth can shape a woman. My last birth, supported by a doula, showed me the quiet power of being held without judgment, without pressure, just steady, present support. It changed everything for me. I have attended seven births so far, each one strengthening my respect for this work and deepening my calling to walk alongside women as they welcome new life. I have completed my doula training through Douglas College, where I developed the knowledge and skills to provide thoughtful, informed, and compassionate care. I believe birth is not something to be feared, but something to be witnessed and supported through. A doula holds that space, grounded and aware, so the mother can let go. With one foot in the conscious world, we create safety, allowing her to turn inward, trust herself, and fully enter the experience. In that space, she returns to herself. She rises into her instinctive, powerful nature. This is the heart of my work. I am committed to practicing cultural safety and honoring every client’s unique background, beliefs, and lived experience. My goal is to create a space where you feel respected, heard, and fully supported, exactly as you are. I am there to hold steady, to protect the space, and to support you as you move through one of the most defining moments of your life. Through pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and loss, my role is to ensure you feel seen, safe, and supported every step of the way. You can expect calm presence, emotional support, and gentle guidance when you need it most. You will always have someone in your corner. I am committed to continually deepening my knowledge and learning new techniques to better support both mother and baby.

Hello expecting families! My name is Char and I am a Birth/Postpartum Doula, Prenatal Yoga Instructor. Ive supported families through the DSABC and DAFGP. I was a community Doula with Indigenous Health (VCH) and was a Pregnancy outreach worker with BFL. I taught in group, focused on 1:1 sessions and supported Prenatal and Postpartum groups. I worked in healthcare for 9-years, mainly in administration. I supported an array of practitioners working with western medicine, holistic and traditional medicine. This experience allows me to work as a supporting bridge between both worlds, whether you are planning a hospital or home birth. How I show up in this work has a lot to do with my upbringing. I really enjoy care taking for mom during birth and postpartum, as I know it such a beautiful but sensitive time. My nurturing care was taught by my late mother, who I think was an unofficial doula herself. I learned how to tend to others through gentle touch, as my mom would give me massages growing up, when the children were unwell. I learned my calming essence from the relaxing environment my mom would create, the sound of soothing music in the morning, the added touches of nature in the home and the smell of incense burning. My love of teaching also ensures that you leave our sessions being informed and hopefully more confident! **please note fee will be increasing to $1675 at the end of 2026.

I can barely put into words how amazing my experience with Char has been. But I will do my best, because honestly, there's no better doula who will support a woman during birth. I was pregnant with my fourth child, and after three hospital births, I knew I wanted to have my baby at home. My husband wanted a support person there to show him how he can be apart of the birth, and for someone else to be able to support me. After reading some ads from other doulas, Char's immediately stuck out to me. She wanted to support my want of having a physiological birth. So, after meeting and aligning on how we both view birth, Char became my Doula. She visited and educated my husband and I multiple times leading up to my labour, and was only ever a text or phone call away. She supported my early labor and rushed over the following morning when my water broke. She was the pillar my husband and I needed. There was no anxiety, no pressure, just the three of us totally in sync to welcome my baby into the world. I am beyond grateful for everything she has done, before, during, and after my birth. The relaxation techniques, and counter pressure she provided I believe moved my labor to progress as quickly as it did. I never felt more safe during child birth than I did with Char there! I cannot recommend her enough, and would have her as my doula every time!

Hi, I’m Nicole! (she/her) I live in New Westminster with my rambunctious toddler, and my husband. We love exploring the outdoors and attending toddler playgroups together. I also love listening to podcasts and dancing in Zumba classes. I have completed both Holistic Birth Doula & Postpartum Doula training through MotherWit Doula Care, as well as the Step 2 Education Breastfeeding Essentials course. I’m so excited to also be a Prenatal Educator with Birth By Bloom/ Dancing Star Birth and teach expecting families at Pomegranate Midwives in East Vancouver. I am certified in CPR-C (trained in CPR for babies, children and adults) for your peace of mind. I have completed a mentorship from Morag Hastings of Apple Blossom Families and Dancing Star Birth. I strive to inform my clients, so you feel confident making educated, evidence-based choices to determine your value system for your birthing experience. I will honour and support those values, encouraging you to root into your instincts and trust your body throughout this physiologic process. I create space to acknowledge the transformation into parenthood and support your family so you feel grounded throughout this time of transition. At your birth, I tune into you and your support people to anticipate your needs, and take care of small details in maintaining the environment, to promote a more nurturing space for you all. I also offer postpartum support to help your family adjust during the postpartum period.

As a new mom, my husband and I didn’t have any family nearby, so I had many questions and felt unsure about what to expect after my pregnancy. Tiffany was a helpful resource before, during, and after the birth. With so many things I didn’t know and no one to guide me, Tiffany stayed with us and was always friendly, dependable and easy to talk to. She offered kind support and helpful advice for all my questions. Our baby also felt very comfortable with her, which made our transition to life with a new baby much easier. We are very thankful for Tiffany’s help as our doula. Having her around at such an important time meant a lot to our family. Even months after the baby was born, she continued to be a caring and dependable presence, and our little one has grown to love her.

Let me tell you postpartum depression and doing life alone is no joke! And through prayer De’Angela had crossed my path when I was about to give it all up because I was tired of doing life alone! I had no idea what a doula is was nothing but man let me tell you something I been finding the light and loving life again! And to know I am not the only one going through it. I can’t thank her enough for the work she has helped me through on my healing journey!

Garcia is absolutely wonderful with babies and her beautiful caring nature makes for a relaxed environment. I would recommend her services to anyone.

— Trina B., review of Garcia Hughley July 2026

I truly can’t imagine our birth experience without Rachel. From the moment she joined us, she brought such a calm, reassuring presence into what ended up being a very long and difficult labour and delivery. As first time parents, we were navigating completely unfamiliar territory, and having someone we trusted by our side made all the difference. Rachel was our steady constant. She advocated for us, explained what was happening, helped us make informed decisions, and somehow managed to make a stressful experience feel as peaceful as it possibly could. She wasn’t just a doula. She became a source of comfort, strength, and reassurance. She knew exactly when to offer guidance, when to encourage, and when to simply be there. What has meant just as much is that her care didn’t end when our son was born. Even with no obligation to, she has continued to check in, offer support, and show up with thoughtful acts of kindness. It speaks volumes about the kind of person she is and how deeply she cares about the families she supports. If you’re considering hiring Rachel, do it. She is worth every penny and then some. We will always be grateful for the role she played in bringing our son into the world, and I genuinely don’t know how we would have gotten through it without her.
