I am not sure yet. Just getting started, I have an appointment with my OB on September 28th for my first ultrasound. I just had my blood pregnancy test and my HCG is 7858, but the first day of my last period was July 27th, which would put me around 6 weeks and 4 days. I am going to be a single mom. I am currently working on my budget, but my insurance covers a midwife.

I would like to give birth in a birth center with minimal interventions. I want to be really intentional with the interventions and screenings in the prenatal period as well. This is my first pregnancy at age 27, and my husband wants to be involved in the process as much as possible.
My first baby. Currently living in San Diego, CA due to military orders while my husband lives in Mount Vernon, WA. Planning on giving birth in Mount Vernon, WA. Hoping for unmedicated but we'll see how that goes. Looking for someone who will be in person for birth, but I'm fine with virtual meetings especially as I am not local currently. I am 22 weeks and the baby's due date is January 23, 2027. Not quite sure of budget yet.
