I plan to give birth in a hospital, I previously had one baby via C-section, and I would like to do that again. But I am in need for monitoring prenatal care until the baby arrives.

I am having a low risk very healthy pregnancy and would like to do a home water birth completely unmedicated and 0 interventions but am in need of some support from a professional midwife and/or doula as this is my first baby.

I am not sure yet. Just getting started, I have an appointment with my OB on September 28th for my first ultrasound. I just had my blood pregnancy test and my HCG is 7858, but the first day of my last period was July 27th, which would put me around 6 weeks and 4 days. I am going to be a single mom. I am currently working on my budget, but my insurance covers a midwife.

I'm actually just looking for a midwife nurse to go to for a pap smear/annual appointment. I don't feel comfortable going to a traditional OB-GYN. I want to find someone who takes my insurance.

I'm giving birth at home (Federal Way). It's my first baby. My care team so far consists of my husband, parents, and sisters. I am confident in my plan for an undisturbed physiological birth and so far have had a hard time finding a like-minded midwife or doula, but would love to be supported by a more knowledgeable and experienced woman. I have no idea what such a thing would cost but am open to paying for quality care.
