This is my second baby, I am newly pregnant, still waiting for my first ultrasound, I would like to have a home birth. I had one 9 years ago and I loved the experience so much I want to do that again. My budget is $2000.

First baby, would like to do it at home or a birthing center on medicated. In the Leavenworth Wenatchee area and our budget is $2000.

I plan to give birth at a hospital and would like someone who is supportive, patient, and attentive to my preferences. I’m interested in discussing pain-management options, labor positions, delayed cord clamping, skin-to-skin after delivery, and breastfeeding support. I have TRICARE Prime and would like to know whether you accept my insurance and what my estimated out-of-pocket costs would be.

I need help with this entire process, or at least having someone on standby that can help me through.

I am not sure yet. Just getting started, I have an appointment with my OB on September 28th for my first ultrasound. I just had my blood pregnancy test and my HCG is 7858, but the first day of my last period was July 27th, which would put me around 6 weeks and 4 days. I am going to be a single mom. I am currently working on my budget, but my insurance covers a midwife.

I'm actually just looking for a midwife nurse to go to for a pap smear/annual appointment. I don't feel comfortable going to a traditional OB-GYN. I want to find someone who takes my insurance.

I'm giving birth at home (Federal Way). It's my first baby. My care team so far consists of my husband, parents, and sisters. I am confident in my plan for an undisturbed physiological birth and so far have had a hard time finding a like-minded midwife or doula, but would love to be supported by a more knowledgeable and experienced woman. I have no idea what such a thing would cost but am open to paying for quality care.
