Hi! I am a mom of 5 adult children, a retired school nurse and a long time postpartum and birth doula. I live in the Boston area and love to support families as they build confidence in parenting their baby.

My name is Sarah Tucker and I’m a birth and postpartum doula that specializes in trauma informed care, as well as perinatal and postnatal mood disorders. Doula work, for me is very much sacred, heart work. I practice by educating you on evidence based birth practices, but I also connect with you on a personal level as birth can be a very emotional event that requires feeling heard and seen. I also provide maternity, birth, and newborn photography, as well as placenta services

I have been attending births since 2005 and have been honored to witness over 420 births to date. I am certified as a Full-Spectrum Doula through Birthing Advocacy Doula Trainings. I am certified to teach childbirth education through BACE-NMC and am a Certified Lactation Educator through CAPPA. I identify as Queer/Bi and I am bi-lingual in Spanish.
