Hi, I am 27 weeks pregnant with a baby girl. I am 38 years old and both baby and I are healthy and strong. I am looking for a midwife to take over my prenatal care and home birth plan with a hospital birth as a back up. My current midwife is going through many personal things and that is why I am searching for someone to take over. I am a Christian and would love someone who is also a follower of Jesus.
Nearly 26 weeks with my first. Looking for a midwife who will help support me during pregnancy, birth and postpartum. Someone who advocates for women of color as well. I plan to have a natural birth but if I need epidural I will definitely get it. I currently assigned to umass hospital at Worcester on Belmont st.
I plan to give birth in hospital with absolutely no interventions. I have Neighborhood Health Plan of RI. My goal is no interventions, and please I would like to work with someone that practices informed consent and will not get personally angry or treat me differently if I deny a given procedure!
