Hi, I’m Rae, and I am a Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC) and postpartum doula in Durham, NC! I am thrilled to have the opportunity to support you and your family during this transformative time. As your postpartum doula, I am here to offer a listening ear, provide evidence-based information, and assist you with practical tasks. From helping with newborn care and breastfeeding support to assisting with household chores, my aim is to alleviate any stress and ensure that you feel supported and confident in your parenting journey. I believe in the importance of tailoring my services to meet the unique needs and preferences of each family. By working closely with you, I will create a personalized care plan that addresses your specific goals and challenges, fostering an environment of trust, respect, and open communication.

Postpartum Doula packages and pricing

Home Transition

12 hours, broken up into 4-hour visits; includes pre-baby consult at home (1-2 hours) and lactation support.

$550 USD · Flat rate

Postpartum Doula Support (Hourly)

Personalized postpartum doula support based of your needs and timeline. Each visit a minimum of 3 hours. Includes lactation support

$45 USD · Per hour

Virtual Lactation Support

Phone and / or video lactation support to troubleshoot issues that arise.

$30 USD · Per hour

What to expect

My goal as a postpartum doula is to create a nurturing and empowering environment for your family, allowing you to focus on bonding, recovery, and adjusting to your new roles as parents. In addition, it is important to me that the families I work with establish local community support that they can lean on once my services are no longer needed. I am particularly passionate about establishing local connections, supporting your unique breastfeeding journey, postpartum fitness, and navigating career after baby.
