Hello :) I currently live in Texas and will be in CA this summer for a couple months. I'm looking for care during this time. My due date is 09/27/2026 I'm currently 17 weeks along. This is my second pregnancy, my daughter is 4 yo. I've had no complications so far in my pregnancy. i have Aetna PPO insurance.
Doula to assist with birth, birth plan, after birth care for first time parents
I would like to keep everything as natural as possible, most likely staying home to give birth and not needing a hospital unless absolutely necessary. Birth budget, don’t necessarily have one as of right this moment
I would like to have my baby at home. Unknown exactly on the budget, wanting to including prenatal visits and postpartum visits, I would like to have a water birth
Midwife needed. Wasn't a fan of the hospital last year with my other baby. Need someone covered by anthem blue cross.
28 weeks pregnant with twins. Would love to be delivered by a midwife.
I wanted to give birth at a birthing center. I wanted to see what my insurance would cover. I wanted a midwife and doula and possible lactaction consultant. My insurance is Molina medical
Home water birth and hoping to use my blue shield hmo plan if possible.
I’m open to giving birth wherever it’s possible, preferably hospital because it’s safer but I’m open to home birth too, if I get enough of education and coaching. I am also going to be alone for this, my husband works nights, my family doesn’t live around, my mom can come to be with me few times a year for a bit. I’d pay using anthem ppo. Want to reduce the cesarean and I’m open to pain meds, as I have low pain tolerance. I get anxious and tend to be panicky. I’d love to prevent tearing, I have raynaund’s phenomenon and my nipples are sensitive. I am first time mom, want to have the chance to be treated with respect especially since having a foreign accent.
I plan to give birth at a hospital with no or low interventions. I plan on breastfeeding my baby.
I just found out I am pregnant with baby #2. I had a wonderful hospital birth with a great traditional OB for my first. I am considering a midwife this time around because I am wanting a more whole-person kind of care. I haven't decided if I want to do a homebirth or hospital birth. I planned to go unmedicated with my daughter, but I wasn't dilating after 24 hours so I ended up having an epidural to relax my body and had her within 4 hours. I was happy to have her here and had zero regret getting the epidural. A homebirth makes me a little anxious becasue I'm worried my body will respond the way it did the first time.
CalOptima Community Network First time parents.
UPDATE: we found a midwife, thank you for your inquiries. I’ve had two home births for my two children and would like to have another home birth with them present. We can budget 5k.
Need midwife to start prenatal appointments and plan at home birth together
I would like to do an at home water birth or at the birthing center depending on which option is better for my family financially. My budget would range from $3,000-5,000 and if a payment plan is available that would be great.
