We're hoping to build our village and would love for you to be part of it. We're expecting our second daughter in November and are looking for a warm, experienced caregiver to support our family during the day for the first few months postpartum. A little about us: We're a family of soon-to-be four, with a 2-year-old daughter who's excited (and curious!) about becoming a big sister. We'll have some family in town to visit and help during the early weeks, but they live elsewhere, so we're hoping to build a "village" here at home — a caregiver who can become a steady, trusted presence for us during this season, not just a temporary hire. What we need: A few hours of daytime support each day (schedule flexible — happy to find a rhythm that works for both of us) Experience with newborn care: feeding support (bottle and/or breastfeeding assistance), soothing, sleep routines, and general newborn wellbeing Comfort around toddlers is a plus, since our 2-year-old will be home too CPR/First Aid certified Trustline certified preferred Comfortable providing references from past families Ideally, you also bring: Postpartum Doula training/certification — we'd love support for parental recovery, emotional adjustment, and the whole-family transition, not just newborn care A calm, communicative presence — we're looking for a true partner during this season, someone our family can lean on. Added birth doula as am also looking for pre-birth prep and virtual birth support as needed, so if we find someone who covers it all, that would be great, but also open to them being separate roles. Hi! I am a second time mom who will be delivering at HOAG hospital Newport. My first pregnancy was very chaotic because my son came 6 weeks early without any warning. I want to be much more prepared this time around and I am planning on choosing to go unmedicated as last time he came so unexpectedly I choose to get the epidural immediately without much time to think about it nor did I have a plan going into that birth.

First baby - hoping for low interventions and unmedicated. Not sure if I am ready to commit to unmedicated though. Either way, I'd like to stay unmedicated as long as possible/as long as is safe. I know very little about labor/birth and have been afraid of it for a while. I'd like someone who is well versed in physical support, and of course mental/emotional support and birth education. I have somewhat of a distrust of doctors and want someone who knows the data on when things are necessary, and when things are not necessary. My husband is pretty squeamish and he may need some mental support too. I am a patient of the midwives at Orange Coast Womens Medical Group and I plan to give birth at HOAG Irvine. I am looking for a birth doula, a lactation consultant, and possibly a postpartum doula. I live in Fullerton, CA - looking for in person services.

I want a vaginal birth only. I would like my doula to be experienced at least 5 years. I would like my doula to help me with sleep training, lactation, nutrition, etc.
