More than anything, I’m looking for someone who will help me feel informed, confident, and supported throughout the process. My partner will be with me during labor, and I’d love a doula who works well alongside partners and helps us both feel prepared. I’m looking for someone who provides emotional support, comfort measures, guidance through labor positions and breathing techniques, and gentle advocacy so we can make informed decisions together. Because this is our first baby, it’s important to me to build a trusting relationship before birth. I’d love to learn about your experience, what’s included in your services, how you support clients during labor, and whether you offer prenatal and postpartum visits. We live in Playa Del Rey and planning to have a birth in Cedars-Sinai in Beverly Hills. Our estimate budget is $1500-3000 but this will depend on the available options. I am working with a midwife as my primary care provider, and for now we are planning on a natural birth, preferably no induction (unless medically required), maximizing freedom to move during birth. I want to have an epidural as an option if I need it but I am planning to go without it for as long as possible and see how it goes. I am 25 yo, this is my first baby (a boy). We are looking for a russian speaking doula who will be able to help during birth and also provide guidance in postpartum journey (newborn care, pp recovery).
