About me

   My name is Rasheeka Edwards and I am a certified Newborn Care Specialist and Nanny, with a certified CPR and certified First Aid responder and five (5)years experience. I graduated from Bridgeport High with my diploma .I am a woman of good characteristics, loving, caring, honest, responsible, reliable, punctual, and hard working.     Within my five(5)years of experience, I enjoyed nurturing and caring for infants and toddlers. I love to work with parents, making sure all the necessary steps are taken to ensure that they are satisfied with my assignment.  I adore children of all ages, and capable of helping news mom’s take care of their child or (children, overcome the challenges of motherhood.      As a nanny my duties are feeding, preparing meal bathing, assisting with homework, taking the child to school, organizing bedrooms/ toys, children’s laundry, reading bedtime stories, activities, outings, maintaining logs, and light housekeeping. As a Newborn Care Specialist my duties are assisting with breastfeeding, getting the baby on a routine, organizing the nursery, doing baby laundry, teaching the parent how to give the baby their first bath, taking care of the baby umbilical cord. I implement soothing techniques and pre- bedtime log for babies to sleep at night and ensure to keep a log of the baby habits.     My goal is to help parents to have a healthy, happy child as they embark on the journey of parenthood. I hope to meet with you and your family and have the opportunity to work with your child/children
