After spending many years on the road, my husband and I feel blessed to have settled in the PNW. We’re raising five growing children who are the light of our lives, with a focus on a deeply rooted, home-centered life—fostered at home through growing our own food, homeschooling, and spending as much time together as this beautiful life allows. Work Life – I’ve been attending births in a variety of roles since 2012. In 2016, I graduated from AAMI Midwifery School, and have been attending births ever since in a variety of roles. I currently hold an active CPM credential and am a licensed midwife in both Washington and Idaho. I maintain current certifications in Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) and CPR/BLS, and I pursue continuing education each year to expand my skills and deepen my understanding of holistic health. Hello there! My name is Sarah and I am a holistic, mind-body focused certified Birth Doula in Spokane, WA. I grew up with a mom who worked in labor and delivery for most of my early childhood and was obsessed with hearing the birth stories of her patients. I learned what a doula was in 2015 and have since believed deep in my soul that becoming a doula is part of my life calling, my destiny, my fate…whatever you want to call it. I am deeply passionate about this work. I believe that every birth is natural - and whether it is a vaginal, medicated or unmedicated, or cesarean birth - every type of birth demands support and deserves celebration. I have been a doula for over a year and a half and have served over 20 families in that time. I have experience with first time and multiple time mamas, inductions, cesareans, home birth, birth centers, and hospitals!

I am a WA state certified doula officially as of 2026. However I have been a practicing and doula enrichment and education coach for 3 years. I am a certified peer counselor with HCA as well as a youth and adult mental health first aid instructor. I’ve worked in advocacy and maternal health specifically for serving black families but also all demographics of youth families since 2023. I am a mother of four and a new full time entrepreneur growing in birth work daily. Here to serve love with my heart in hand.

We always remember how our children came into the world and as a birth doula I wish to give you the confidence to decide what is right for you and your family, supporting you, emotionally and practically, to have a beautiful, empowered and positive birth experience. The arrival of a new baby is a time filled with so many emotions, from excitement and joy to worry and fear. The early weeks with your newborn are undoubtedly magical, but they can also be challenging and overwhelming. Your body has gone through an enormous change, and your hormones will be shifting as well, the dynamics of home life shift and new skills are learnt by all the family.  As your birth doula, my role is to offer you and your family the necessary support for a positive birthing experience.  I will give you the much-needed continuity of care, access to accurate information and to be a guide along your pregnancy and birthing journey.
