Hello, my name is Stella! I am eager to support you throughout your reproductive journey, from early planning to postpartum. My main role as a doula and educator is to provide you and your family unit with evidence-based information, guide you to make intuitive decisions, provide your physical body with healing touch and pain-relieving techniques, and support the co-regulation of your nervous system through listening, breathwork, continuity of care, and tenderness during any phase of your reproductive journey. I am originally from Bellingham, Washington and now live in Los Angeles, California. I have a strong belief that birthing people deserve the care, information, and support they desire. I am passionate and fierce about this work, while providing much needed humor and levity. I am committed to assisting you in getting the resources you need, whether that be working with me or providing sufficient referrals. As a queer person, I am eager to support queer, trans, and gender non-conforming families through their pregnancy, birthing, and postpartum journies. Some things I like are writing poetry and reading books, going outside and laying in the sun like a lizard, trying a new craft, listening to Britney Spears, baking something and putting cardamom in it, learning about ecology and religious philosophies, making lists, going to estate sales, being kind to strangers, and looking at the stars when camping.

I will not judge your parenting or birth style or choices. I will never lie to you. I am here to help. My mission is to empower new parents as they transition into parenthood. When I am done providing my services my goal is to walk away with you feeling confident, relaxed, happy with your birth, and ready to take on this new life called parenthood! Everyone deserves a doula who understands who they are, listens to what they need, and comes with an open heart and an open mind. I hope to be that doula for you! I am trying to get certified and I need your help! Not being certified does not mean I am not trained. It just means I can not accept insurance. Families who agree to helping me get certified will get the service for 50% off in exchange! Offer available to three birth families! For more information, Just ask! Currently Serving: Los Angeles County & Humboldt County!

I am a first time single mom and was worried about taking care of my daughter Emma, alone and recovering from birth at the same time. Violet helped me with both night and day shifts. Violets day shifts depended on my needs for the day. Some days she was just happy to make me lunch and do laundry for me and Emma. Some days I needed some time alone and she was there to do tummy time with Emma, put her down for naps, and sing to her. When she was on nights she was there to burp, change, and settle the baby down again after I breast fed her so I was able to sleep a little more. She always had cleaned any bottles she would use by the morning and would make us both coffee before I got up. She even gave me a slight discount knowing I didn't have a two income household witch helped me a lot in the long run.

Autonomy-Centered Birth, Faith-based Birth & Postpartum Doula for Sovereign, Physiological Birth | Serving LA & OC | Kaiser-Friendly Hi, I’m Teejay Casado — your local doula for LA and Orange Counties. I am happy to also assist doulas beyond this area virtually and will travel if necessary. I started founder of Temple & Terrain Birthworks — a faith-rooted birth and postpartum support and wellness service. I specialize in supporting women who desire physiological, low-intervention birth while preserving autonomy and informed consent in hospital or home settings. My clients are often: • Planning natural or low-intervention hospital births • Desiring delayed cord clamping, Golden Hour, or lotus birth • Seeking evidence-based advocacy within systems like Kaiser • Wanting sovereignty in their birth decisions (e.g. labor to start naturally, push when ready, informed consent for vaccinations) • Craving calm, grounded leadership during labor With a background in anthropology, I honor birth as both an ancient physiological process and a sacred rite of passage. I help mothers prepare not just physically — but mentally, emotionally, and spiritually — so they enter birth informed, steady, and confident. Whether birthing at Kaiser or elsewhere, I guide families in: • Protecting the Golden Hour • Navigating hospital dynamics with clarity • Minimizing unnecessary interventions • Preserving mother-baby bonding • Creating a peaceful postpartum integration My postpartum support is deeply restorative, focused on nervous system regulation, gentle bodywork, whole-food nourishment, and helping mothers feel seen — not just cared for. If you are seeking sovereign birth, calm leadership, and faith-rooted support without pressure — I would love to connect.

TeeJay is an absolute God sent. I met TeeJay through LoveLife Jess. I am a first time single parent who suffer from severe postpartum depression & anxiety after I had my daughter. I didn’t know how to navigate motherhood and didn’t have the strongest or healthiest support system. However, TeeJay has been that support I needed to push through a lot of my fears. I would’ve missed out a lot the first year of my daughter's life if it weren’t for TeeJay’s patience, love, & support.

My mother was a Lamaze instructor who taught childbirth classes in our home, surrounding me with the language, rhythm, and wonder of pregnancy and birth from an early age. As the eldest of four siblings and 16 grandchildren, I grew up surrounded by babies, witnessing the magic of new life, and developing a deep-rooted sense of awe and normalcy around the birthing process. The births of my own children lit a spark in me, and that spark grew into a calling. I became a doula and gained extensive experience supporting families birthing in homes, birth centers, and hospitals across Los Angeles. Over time, my passion for this sacred work deepened, and I felt the undeniable pull to expand my knowledge and commitment to birthing families by becoming a midwife. Through years of study, apprenticeship, and dedication, I graduated from the National Midwifery Institute. I am a Licensed Midwife (LM) with the Medical Board of California and Certified Professional Midwife (CPM) with the North American Registry of Midwives. I carry certifications in neonatal resuscitation, CPR, and Basic Life Support (BLS) and have had the privilege of supporting hundreds of families on their birthing journey's. Becoming a midwife has been one of the greatest honors of my life— and I carry every story, every family, and every birth with gratitude and reverence.

Jennifer is an outstanding Midwife. Her dedication to caring for birthing families is without a doubt her passion and it shows through everything she does, she is beyond gifted. Her attention to detail, autonomy, expertise, and ability to communicate clearly make her unique in this field. She is highly skilled and quick on her toes when needed to be. She will ensure you are fully educated and prepared to give birth on every level - body, soul, and mind. Working with Jennifer as a Doula, I have seen her in many births, and her energy is calm, and serene but also a confident source of wisdom. I would highly recommend Jennifer for you birthing needs.

I have worked closely with Asia for many years and in some very high-intensity, high-performing situations. While I may not have hired her as my doula on account of not being pregnant (because I'm a male) I can definitely recommend her on a professional level. Asia is a very positive and confident person, an intuitive listener, and a selfless caregiver. She is very knowledgeable and is able to deliver quality care and anticipate your needs. She is the type of person I refer my expecting patients to, and the right one for the job of helping you welcome your newest one into the world. I recommend Asia without any reservation or hesitation to anyone in the greater Austin area looking for a competent and confidence-instilling doula!

After my son's birth, I was reeling from how well my birth journey went. I heard so many horror stories from friends and family about how their birthing days went. I was appalled for them. Most were pushed around by hospital staff, forced into unnecessary c-sections or just completely unaware of what options they had! I became determined to be an advocate for women who want to feel validated and that they can birth the way they choose. I want to be able to provide a beautiful experience, to anyone who desires it. Having my son empowered me to help other women have the birth of their dreams. I strive for a smooth, calm process, free from stress, judgement and fear. Whether it be at home, a birth center or hospital, all natural, medicated or planned c-sections, I believe that women should be able to do things their own way. Because each and every woman, birth and baby is different, I take pride in supporting you, however you choose to proceed. Hospitals can get confusing, nurses/OB's can get impatient, let me be your advocate through this journey. Let me help you, do you. Let's birth the way that you want.

I cannot say enough good things about our experience with Betsy!! I found Betsy in my late second trimester and immediately felt like she was the perfect fit for my first childbirth experience. I had no idea what to expect from the experience, but I really wanted someone in the delivery room who was familiar with my needs and who could both help me with the birthing process and could help advocate for my wishes and priorities in the hospital environment. As a medical student, I both know way too much about everything that can go wrong in childbirth and came to the experience with a lot of anxiety. Betsy did an amazing job of helping me navigate my feelings and eased my many many worries throughout my pregnancy without ever making me feel like a burden. When my labor began, Betsy was available and ready for whatever I needed. While my labor looked absolutely nothing like I had prepared for, and the plan was very quickly abandoned, Betsy easily met the challenges of the new situation and provided tremendous support. We are so grateful for Betsy and we look forward to working with her again in the future

Hi, I’m Maribel, a DONA International-certified birth doula and birth photographer based in Irvine, serving Orange County and select surrounding communities in South Los Angeles County/South Bay, the western Inland Empire, and North County San Diego. I didn’t always know what a doula was. I found this work because I needed that kind of support myself, and experiencing what it felt like to have someone calm, familiar, and fully in my corner changed the way I understood birth. Eventually, it changed the direction of my work too. Today, I try to offer families that same sense of steadiness and connection. Before labor, we build a relationship and practice tools so the day feels more familiar. During birth, I adapt to what you need: hands-on comfort, positioning, breathing and relaxation, experience with different tools, a softer ambiance for relaxation, partner coaching, and support around informed decisions. I am especially intentional about partners; my role is to support them, not take their place, so they can spend less energy wondering what to do and more energy simply being your partner. After birth, I stay connected with early postpartum care for the families whose births I attend, including emotional, educational, and practical support within my scope. Photography comes from my love of real-life storytelling. Birth is so absorbing that there are parts of your own story you may not get to see while you are living them: the looks, the gestures, or the small moments surrounding the first time you meet your baby. My documentary approach is quiet and unobtrusive, preserving those pieces so you can return to them later. Birth photography may be booked on its own or woven into doula care. My broader full-spectrum doula work also includes standalone abortion support, pregnancy loss, and infant loss support. Eligible doula services may be covered through Medi-Cal or select commercial insurance benefits.

Maribel was an incredible support person for my wife and me throughout every step of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. From the beginning, she brought a calm, reassuring presence and shared a lot of knowledge about pregnancy, childbirth, breastfeeding, and newborn care. As first-time parents, we had a lot of questions, and Maribel always made us feel comfortable asking anything without judgment. We especially appreciated her support on the day of birth. She arrived while my partner was in labor fully prepared with supplies for comfort measures, including massage rollers and other techniques that helped during labor. She also guided me in how to better support and comfort my partner throughout the process. Maribel had a grounding presence in the room — she observed and supported us through very intense moments without intervening unnecessarily or overstepping. Another gift she gave us was capturing beautiful photos during our time at the hospital. Those moments were so special to us, and we’re so grateful she took the care to capture them. After the birth, Maribel continued to support us by meeting with us to debrief our experience, help us navigate newborn care approaches, and provide breastfeeding support. Those first few weeks at home can feel extremely overwhelming, and having her guidance during that time was very valuable. We would absolutely recommend Maribel to anyone looking for a reliable doula.

Hi, I'm Monica—the heart behind Bloom & Breathe Doula Co. I'm a proud Mexican and Guatemalan woman, born and raised in Southern California, where family, community, and caring for others have always been at the center of my life. At 31 years old, I've spent the last five years working in the field of child development, supporting children and families through some of their most important milestones. That passion naturally led me to birth work, where I discovered my calling: walking alongside growing families with compassionate, evidence-based care during one of life's most transformative seasons. As mom to an energetic, fun-loving, and incredibly kind two-year-old who wholeheartedly believes he's Spider-Man, motherhood has been the greatest gift of my life, and it's given me a deep appreciation for the joys, challenges, and incredible strength that come with raising a child. Happily married to the man who made me a mom and my biggest source of support throughout my pregnancy, labor, and delivery, he stood beside me every step of the way—offering encouragement, reassurance, and unwavering love. Experiencing that kind of support firsthand shaped my understanding of how powerful it is to feel truly seen, cared for, and advocated for during birth. It's one of the reasons I'm so passionate about ensuring every family feels supported in a way that reflects their own needs and values. I believe every parent deserves to feel heard, respected, and empowered throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. As your doula, my role is to provide continuous emotional, physical, and educational support while honoring your unique preferences, values, and birth goals. Whether you're planning an unmedicated birth, an epidural, a scheduled cesarean, a VBAC, or anything in between, I am committed to creating a calm, judgment-free space where you feel confident making informed decisions for yourself and your baby. My approach is deeply personal because no two families are the same. I take the time to understand your hopes, answer your questions, and support you through every stage of your journey. From prenatal preparation and labor support to postpartum care, my goal is to ensure you always feel informed, nurtured, and never alone. For me, being a doula is about so much more than birth—it's about building meaningful relationships and helping families begin this new chapter feeling confident, supported, and deeply cared for. It would be an honor to walk alongside you, celebrate your strength, and help you welcome your little one with peace, confidence, and unwavering support.

We hired Monica as a postpartum mommy helper starting when our baby was 2 weeks old, and she was wonderful to have during those early, overwhelming weeks. Our baby had some digestive issues and was quite fussy, and Monica was very patient and attentive with him, she had so many practical tips and suggestions for soothing him that genuinely made a difference for our whole household. She has clearly worked with a lot of babies and it showed in how calm and confident she was, even during the hard stretches. She was also wonderful with our 3-year-old, who needed extra attention during this transition, and it meant so much to see him looked after with the same warmth and care. We felt so supported having her with us during this time and would recommend her to any family, especially those navigating a fussy or colicky baby. Thank you, Monica!

I live in OC with my three amazing children! If I’m not at a birth, you will find us at the beach surfing, playing, and enjoying the outdoors. I fell in love with all things birth when I became pregnant with my 1st child in 2008. As an avid reader and researcher, I made it my goal to learn everything I possibly could about the biology and physiology of birth, and how to have optimal health during and after pregnancy for both me and my baby. Like many first-time moms I have worked with, I had hesitations about giving birth to my 1st baby outside of a hospital setting. After all my research, classes, and conversations with midwives, I gained confidence in aiming for an unmedicated birthing experience. I found some lovely midwifes who had a midwifery ward in a hospital and gave birth to my 1st son unmedicated. Twenty-four hours of intense back labor from a posterior-positioned baby …but, I did it! My body actually did it! After birthing my first, statistically knowing it was the most challenging and longest labor, gave me confidence to choose home births for my second and third children. I had a successful home water birth with my second child and wanted to repeat that with my third. However, while laboring on the toilet with him, I suddenly dropped to my knees when he began to crown, and he became known as my bathroom floor “butter birth” baby :). Though I chose unmedicated births for myself, I do know it is not for everyone, which is more than OK! I quickly learned from my role as a doula that every woman’s body, medical history, and background are uniquely different. Many factors play into choosing the right birth for you. I am here to come alongside you, help you make an informed decision, and then support you every step of the way. I offer very personable and compassionate care. My approach is non-agenda-based, trauma-informed, and holistic-minded. No matter your history or past experiences, I am here to be a safe place for you. I will help educate, support, and advocate for you and your personal wishes. I look forward getting to know you and building a trusting relationship to where you feel 100% comfortable having me by your side for one of the biggest days of your life. 🙂 I am here for you! Hi, I’m Yoli 🤍👶 A certified doula and experienced Labor & Delivery nurse, and co-founder of Vida Birth Services alongside my business partner, Mercedez. We are proud to be a Latina-owned business based in Riverside, California, serving families throughout the Inland Empire and all surrounding areas. As bilingual providers, we offer support in both English and Spanish to ensure every woman feels understood, respected, and truly cared for—without language barriers. With years of hands-on experience in labor, delivery, and emergency care, I’ve witnessed both the beauty of birth and the gaps that still exist in how women are prepared and supported. We’ve seen too many women walk into birth feeling overwhelmed, unheard, or unsure of their options—and we knew something needed to change. That’s why we created Vida Birth Services 💗 Our mission is to empower women through education, advocacy, and personalized support—so they can walk into birth feeling confident, informed, and in control of their experience. At Vida, we offer comprehensive birth education classes designed to teach you exactly what’s happening in your body, what to expect during labor, your options for pain management, and how to recognize and respond to potential complications. We believe that education is power—and when a woman understands her body, she can advocate for herself and make the best decisions for her and her baby. In addition to education, we provide doula support that focuses on emotional reassurance, physical comfort, and strong advocacy during one of the most important moments of your life. From pregnancy through birth, you are never alone—we are there to guide, support, and stand beside you every step of the way. As Latina women in healthcare, this work is deeply personal to us. We are passionate about creating a safe space where women—especially women of color—feel seen, heard, and protected throughout their journey. Every mama deserves to feel heard. Every birth deserves to be respected. And every woman deserves to walk into that room feeling prepared, powerful, and supported. ✨ Vida is more than a service—it’s a movement to change the birth experience.
